Tidal HiRes FLAC on iPad
It seems that iPad downsamples HiRes Tidal FLAC files to 44.1k Tidal will show the file streaming in 24bit 192k but the DAC picks it up at 44.1k. Is this a thing for FLAC files?

Same here. FLAC is still not supported by apple at least for streaming. A saved FLAC can be read properly but I did download a song in hires from tidal and the DAC did change the settings only once. Returning to tidal , the dac stayed at the same settings even if I was back to 44.1kHz. I opened a ticket with tidal but I think that it’s an apple thing which prefers to use their lossless codec.
