I am always having to sign into itunes on my win 11 computer, what gives?

So, I found the original posting with the above heading however, for Win 10.

Following those instruction (see below[^1]) half worked.

In Win 11 I followed the direction given below (for Win 10) and it did not work at first with simply having to authorize this system.

So, I Authorized then Deauthorized and (the key here is and v. or) then I Authorized again.

This worked.

It's frustrating having to use forums v. Apple Computer taking the time and money to service its customers - Particularly when Apple (ticker AAPL) makes more and more money - as of 17-12-2024, AAPL share price (US$ 255) is the highest ever (44 years).

Why is this so?

  1. Open iTunes. At the top of the iTunes window, choose Account and make sure that you're signed in with your Apple ID.
  2. Choose Account > Authorizations, then choose Authorize This Computer or Deauthorize This Computer.
  3. Sign in with your Apple ID and password. Forgot your Apple ID?
  4. Click Authorize or Deauthorize."
