After installing / deleting MOS (from Caldis), Magic Mouse does not have any Mouse gestures anymore, does not scroll

Hi there,

  • I installed MOS to have a Microsoft surface ARC mouse working better on an M1 Mac. It did not really. So I decided to invest into a Magic Mouse.
  • Got a brand new Magic Mouse. Connected to Mac M1 Mini.

  • But all mouse gestures are not working as listed here: Use Multi-Touch gestures on your Mac - Apple Support.
  • Even System Preferences, Mouse Menu does not show any settings for mouse gestures.
  • I uninstalled MOS via AppCleaner (2 files where removed, MOS and some .plist files somewhere in User directory.
  • Did restart Mac, no change.
  • (Of course I did 'Forget Device')
  • Magic Mouse still supports no Multi-Touch gestures and NO SCROLLING at all
  • When connecting, Mac shows an unusual Mouse connected notification (not Magic Mouse) - definitely different from the expected Magic Mouse connected notification.

Any Idea? I'm lost!

Thanks in advance, Thomas
