Errors in Bootcamp on late 2014 iMac

i have a late 2014 imac and i am trying to run boot camp but it keeps giving errors like “this disc does not have space to be successfully partitioned” and then another time when i went to partition macintosh hd just to see what storage i had to work with it was all partitioned as one and so i tried to fix that and just got a new error. any recommendations would help

Your minimum limit (possibly because constrained by your snapshots taking up the remaining space) is the same as your physical disk size. Therefore you cannot resize the volume, using CLI tools, Disk Utility or Boot Camp Assistnat (which is what you really ought to use for a number of reasons).

You have to create usable space on your disk that can be freed up for a new partition, or get another internal (if you can actually physically add another disk) or external disk to install Windows to instead.
