Apple cash not working today

I love using Apple Cash to send money to children and grandchildren. It is quick, easy and goes right into their Apple Cash. I have 3 that I send to and they live in 3 different parts of the country; so it works so much better than mailing a check. It would not work today! I have plenty of money in my account; I have never had a problem before. I am glad it is not something I have to use today; I can send a check instead, but is anyone else having a problem? This was after I updated to the latest software update, so could that be the problem?
