iOS 18.2 push notifications not working on iPhone 16 Pro Max and iPad Air when locked

New iphone 16 pro max and ipad air 11 inch both updated to ios18.2. Haptics, sounds and push notifications do not come through when device is locked. If device is awake, the banner does appear. Devices were updated to 18.2.1 on Jan 8, and this update did not fix the problem. Did a full wipe, and clean install of all apps and still did not fix the problem. …. So I now have 2 useless devices, and need to rely on my outdated ipads from 2013 that ‘luckily’ are not supported anymore. Please fix this.

Notification Preview when Screen is Locked, Notification Alerts, Notification OFF, and much more...

To get Notifications when the Screen is locked see the pic below which is self-explanatory
To turn ON notifications selectively for apps, go to Settings > Notifications > Scroll Down to the App and turn ON notifications... Change notification settings on iPhone - Apple Support (IN)
Some apps have their own notification settings over and above the iOS notification settings: An example of Instagram Notification settings is given below

Thanks for the reply, but nothing worked. And perhaps I should be more specific.. the only time a push notification is recieved is when the device is awake. If the screen is black (and we’re not in sleep focus btw), the banner, sound and haptic do not come in.
