Trouble adding gift card to wallet

Recently received several gift cards (non-Apple) and want to add them to my wallet like i have in the past. In the past, I clicked the '+' sign and it gave the option to add a gift card along with the other type of cards. Now that option is missing.

What's the process now to add a gift card?
