The ENRD workshop Advancing gender equality in rural areas in the EU will aim to enhance the understanding of current challenges faced by women in EU rural areas, share successful experiences and practices aimed at supporting rural women from different Member States and explore possible solutions that can be promoted through the CAP Strategic Plans and other EU funding tools and policies.
This workshop will be the second edition of the Forum on Best Practices in the Agri-Food Supply Chain, launched by the European Commission in December 2021 in the framework of the Farm to Fork Strategy.

This first meeting of the ENRD Thematic Group on Landscape Features and Biodiversity focused on sharing examples of European good practices and promising approaches to encourage landscape features, discussing how these can be better supported using various interventions under the CAP and what the key enablers and barriers are to doing this.
The launch of the EU CAP Network will take place on Thursday, 6 October 2022 in Brussels. It will be built around interactive sessions and other activities, including the Rural Inspiration Awards 2022 Ceremony. The event will follow the 9th Rural Networks’ Assembly on 5 October 2022
The ninth meeting of the European Rural Networks’ Assembly enabled exchanges between participants on the latest developments on the CAP Reform, approval of Member States’ CAP Strategic Plans, and other relevant EU Policy initiatives, including a Long-term vision for EU's rural areas, Horizon Europe and the outcomes of the Rural Pact Conference.
This international conference was hosted by the Dutch Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality in association with the Dutch Network Support Unit. As part of the ‘It’s time to fly’ conference, the ENRD organised two events.
The ENRD Contact Point, jointly with the Dutch Rural Network, organised the 23rd National Rural Networks meeting in the Netherlands as part of the International Conference: It’s time to fly.
As part of the International Conference ‘It’s time to fly’, hosted by the Dutch Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality, the ENRD Contact Point organised a workshop to support the fine-tuning of relevant interventions within the new green architecture of the CAP, with a view to their effective implementation once the CAP Strategic Plans enter into force in January 2023.
This was the first meeting of the ENRD Thematic Group on Strengthening the position of farmers in the Organic Food Supply Chain, which aims to explore current approaches to cooperation in the organic value chain, identify potential areas of intervention to support collective actions, and share good practices.
