The EU and its international partners are united in condemning Putin's aggression on Ukraine. We will provide support to those seeking shelter and we will help those looking for a safe way home. The EU will continue to offer strong political, financial and humanitarian assistance to Ukraine and impose hard-hitting sanctions against Russia and those complicit in the war.

  1. 16 December 2024

    The EU adopts a 15th sanctions package against Russia

  2. 20 September 2024

    Commission proposes macro-financial assistance loan of up to €35 billion for Ukraine. This loan is the EU’s contribution to an overall financial assistance package of up to €45 billion between the EU and the G7, and will be financed by leveraging extraordinary profits from immobilised Russian assets

    The Commission disburses nearly €4.2 billion to Ukraine under the first pillar of the Ukraine Facility. This brings to €12.2 billion the total EU funding disbursed to the Ukrainian government under the Facility so far
