EuroQuity/ InvestEU Portal Energy and Sustainable Solutions E-pitching event
The InvestEU Portal and EuroQuity (Bpifrance) joined forces on 21 February to organise an e-pitch focused on energy and sustainable solutions. 5 InvestEU Portal projects had an opportunity to pitched in front of international investors. The event was the first of a total of four joint events in the framework of a collaboration between the two portals.
EuroQuity/ InvestEU Portal Investors Office Hours – Women entrepreneurs with Cleantech and Healthtech solutions
On April 26 the InvestEU Portal in partnership with EuroQuity held investor’s office hours for women led Cleantech and Healthtech start-ups. This first session of investors office hours was a great opportunity for founders to get advice and coaching from experienced members of investing teams working all across Europe (including EDF Pulse, Tilt Capital, HV Capital, Sistafund, Future Positive Capital, Fund F, Planet A and Alter Equity). These private meetings allowed 10 InvestEU Portal founders to address topics such as fundraising, valuation, setting up a proof of market or scaling up a business.
From 24 to 26 May the InvestEU Portal and the European Business Angel Network (EBAN) co-organised the 2023 EBAN Thessaloniki Annual Congress. The event brought together business leaders, early-stage investors, business angels, VCs, entrepreneurs, accelerators, seed funds and start-ups. We are very pleased to report that 38 InvestEU Portal projects had the opportunity to pitch in front of international investors.
EuroQuity/ InvestEU Portal Women Entrepreneurs E-pitching event
On June 13 EuroQuity (Bpifrance) and the InvestEU Portal team organized a tailored e-pitching event on women-entrepreneurship. Five selected InvestEU Portal innovative start-ups co-founded or led by brilliant women took part and pitched to top investors.
On July 4 EuroQuity and InvestEU hosted its second investors office hours online event, where 10 HealthTech InvestEU Portal start-ups held one-on-one coaching sessions with European investors. These private meetings allowed founders to address topics such as fundraising, valuation, setting up a proof of market or scaling up a business.
The InvestEU Portal was presented on several occasions this year at the InvestEU Roadshow events taking place in Paris, Ljubljana, Athens and Malaga, with further roadshows planned after the summer. The InvestEU Roadshows are a series of high-level events organised by the EIB Group to explain how the InvestEU programme works and can benefit your city or region, your business or your community.
The InvestEU Team was invited to present the Portal and the general InvestEU Programme, at the EU Finance Days, which so far took place in Athens and Lisbon. The EU Finance Days 2023 are organised by the European Commission services & Representations in cooperation with the European Investment Bank Group and the Enterprise Europe Network. During the events, the financial and support programmes will be presented by experts to relevant stakeholders in the form of seminars and webinars.
The InvestEU Portal together with the InvestEU programme was invited to the 2023 Hannover Messe - the world's leading trade fair for industry. The team presented the key components and funding opportunities of the Programme to the interested participants.
On 4 May, the InvestEU team was at the Brussels Economic Forum to inform about the opportunities that the Portal and the Programme are offering. The flagship annual economic event of the European Commission bringing together high-level European and international policymakers, academics, civil society and business leaders to identify key challenges and debate policy priorities for the European economy.
In autumn, the InvestEU Portal will partner up again with European Business Angels Network (EBAN) to organise the European Angels Investment Summit 2023 in Brussels. From 10 – 11th October the event will host hundreds of investors, selected startups, policymakers and corporates.
EuroQuity/ InvestEU Portal ePitch Agritech, Food and Beverages
The InvestEU Portal and Euroquity will co-organise an e-pitch on the topic of Agritech, Food and Beverages. The event will take place on October 18 at 2pm CEST. The registration to the event is now open and will remain possible until September 8.
EuroQuity/ InvestEU Portal Investors Office Hours – Renewable Energy production
The InvestEU Portal and Euroquity will co-organise investor Office Hours for companies operating in the field of Renewable Energy production. The event will take place on October 25 at 5pm CEST.
