About

BRIDGE is a European Commission initiative which unites Horizon 2020 Smart Grid, Energy Storage, Islands, and Digitalisation Projects to create a structured view of cross-cutting issues which are encountered in the demonstration projects and may constitute an obstacle to innovation. The BRIDGE process fosters continuous knowledge sharing amongst projects thus allowing them to deliver conclusions and recommendations about the future exploitation of the project results, with a single voice.

The EU-funded H2020 project PLATOON is looking for bottom-up projects to help digitising the energy sector

The 1st PLATOON Open Call will distribute €900,000 among 6 bottom-up projects to develop core functional and\or technical building blocks and new analytics tools for PLATOON’s large-scale pilots. 6 SMEs will enter the PLATOON Support Programme benefiting from technical mentoring services.

COMPILE Wins the “Energy Efficient Project 2020” Award!

The COMPILE project, with an example of the first self-sufficient energy community in Slovenia, led by partner Petrol d.d., was nominated in the category “Energy Efficient Project” together with three other projects. It won both the prize by the selection of an expert committee and by the readers of the newspaper Finance.
