- v8.1_VOC_spec NMVOC speciated 1970-2022 Region- and sector-specific NMVOC speciation profiles are here developed and applied to the EDGAR database. Here we provide the 1970-2022 time series and annual gridmaps for 25 NMVOC species using the EDGAR speciation profiles applied to the EDGARv8.1 data.

- Global Mercury Emissions v8.1 Mercury emission is a global issue. Mitigation of mercury is addressed internationally by actions stipulated in the Long-range Transboundary Air Pollution Convention, Protocol on Heavy Metals of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), complemented and extended to the global level by the provisions of the Minamata Convention of the United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP). This framework streamlines the efforts towards reducing the harmful impacts of mercury and its compounds on human health and the environment at global, regional and local scales.

- Temporal Profiles

- High resolution temporal profiles EDGAR provide high resolution temporal profiles, allowing the disaggregation of the EDGAR annual emission into monthly and hourly data, with country- and sector-specific temporal profiles for regulated gaseous and particulate air pollutants, as well as for greenhouse gases. Here the EDGAR temporal profiles library is made available together with monthly distributed data applied to the EDGARv4.3.2 emissions.

- HTAP_v3 air pollutants 2000-2018
- HTAP_v2.2 air pollutants 2008-2010 The HTAP_V2 dataset consists of 0.1deg x 0.1deg gridmaps of CH4, CO, SO2, NOx, NMVOC, NH3, PM10, PM2.5, BC and OC for the years 2008 and 2010. HTAP_V2 uses nationally reported emissions combined with regional scientific inventories in the format of sector-specific gridmaps. The gridmaps are complemented with EDGARv4.3 data for those regions where data are absent. The global gridmaps are a joint effort from US-EPA, the MICS-Asia group, EMEP/TNO, the REAS and the EDGAR group to serve the scientific community for hemispheric transport of air pollution and policy makers.
- HTAP_v1 air pollutants 2000-2005 The EDGAR- HTAP project compiles a global emission dataset with annual inventories for CH4, NMVOC, CO, SO2, NOx, NH3, PM10, PM2.5, BC and OC and covers the period 2000-2005 using official or scientific inventories at the national or regional scale that are likely to be acceptable for policy makers in each region of the world. This compilation of different official inventories from EMEP, EPA for USA, GAINS for China and REAS was first gap-filled with global emission data of EDGARv4.1.
