BeeODiversity’s AI platform to monitor wild bee activity

Human-caused pollution is on the rise, posing significant risks to ecosystems, soil, water and air quality. BeeODiversity offers a cost-effective solution for environmental monitoring and remediation. It integrates a nature-based, on-site monitoring device with a powerful AI platform and uses wild bees throughout Europe as scalable environmental bioindicators to monitor specific pollution and biodiversity metrics. 

This innovative company aims to provide decision-ready, information-based guidance to policymakers and land managers, aiming to reduce environmental pollution and promote a harmonious relationship between humans and the environment. 

BeeODiversity’s BeeOImpact project has received almost €2.5 million in grant and equity finance from the EIC Accelerator, and the BeeOmetrics project has recently been awarded an EIC Transition grant of almost €2.5m.
