The European Commission works with a wide range of partners in the domain of employment and social affairs, including international organisations, partner countries, external agencies and non-governmental organisations (NGOs).
This includes:
- organising public consultations before taking major policy initiatives.
- helping national governments coordinate their efforts to create jobs, make pensions sustainable and tackle poverty and social exclusion.
- cooperating with international organisations, partner countries and EU decentralised agencies to promote decent work.
- supporting dialogue and cooperation with NGOs.
