The Commission has approved the withdrawal of those pending proposals during its 2488th meeting (27 March 2024). Reasons for withdrawing the listed proposals are provided in COM(2023)638 final of 17 October 2023 (Annex IV) while for the proposal marked with a ‘*’, the reason is that no agreement was foreseeable, in view of the rejection of the proposal by the European Parliament (P9_TA(2023)0424) and the lack of progress of the discussions in the Council.
