not sure if im doing something wrong or what but no matter how many times i tap the icon to connect to google play it doesnt let me. i used to play a long time ago and id like to restore my account or even just start over but i dont wanna lose my progress if i cant connect to google play lol

Thank you for reaching out. This will be fixed in the next update. In the meanwhile, please save a screenshot of your settings page (showing your game id) and contact us if you lost your progress.
