You aren't living a blessed life if a woman got you walking around aimlessly in ikea on a Sunday afternoon during football season. We just "had to have" these cookies.
The store is absolutely huge. Took me 20 minutes just to navigate from the top to my car which was parked in the front.... And I didn't even look at anything! I love their deals and the show rooms.
Check the website before leaving for the day sometimes there's an event going on at the restaurant. Also on the website you can check the box sizes of items to see if they'll fit in your car.
On select holiday weekends, you and your entire family can eat for free in the IKEA restaurant if you purchase $100 or more in home furnishings. Check the ads. Good way to get folks to the store.
Ignore lighted exit signs. Best to use a navigator (& the cardinal pts) if you want to leave without going round in circles...before you learn how to find your way to the check out lines of course....
Join the IKEA family and get discounts on select products throughout the store! It's free to join and you get entered for a chance to win a $100 IKEA gift card. Join now at :http://bit.ly/mFLsYm.

The key to parking here on the weekends is to ditch the surface lot out front and head for the underground garage. Plenty of room close to the doors and always stays cool.
Ikea rocks but their shopping carts could definitely see some improvement. Like brakes or something to make it easier to stop the car! Come on Ikea guys, you can do better than that!
Try not to park too far from the door because there are people trying to brake into cars and all I wanted to do was keep my car from getting dented or scratched
Buy a soft toy from IKEA and we'll donate $1 to Unicef & Save the Chrildren to help educate kids. Even if you buy a $.49 SOT toy...we will still donate $1.
Weekdays are the move, especially if you hate crowds. This place is a zoo on the weekends! And during back to school time since U. of MD is down the street.
