Christian AlvarezApril 5, 2018This place is absolutely stunning. The views is just amazing. I’d recommend coming earlier if you wish to do some hiking as the park closes at 6 PM.
MountaincabinNCOctober 3, 2011Get there before 11:00 a.m. or after 3:00 p.m. on summer weekends, holidays and fall color weekends. Also park at the Trails Parking area just below the summit and take the Bridge Trail to the top.

Brian SixbeyJuly 11, 2013Bring good shoes. The hike isn't long, but it makes up in length for climbing ladders on the side of the mountain. Coming back is worse than climbing up.

Grandfather Mountain is a mountain, a non-profit attraction, and a North Carolina state park near Linville, North Carolina. At 5,946 feet (1,818 m), it is the highest peak on the eastern escarpment of the Blue Ridge Mountains, one of the major chains of the Appalachian Mountains.
