If you are in Terminal 2F and want free wifi, go all the way to the leather seats by F30 and F31. This is above the Lounge and you can get on their wifi network. 6 hours of free time, per device!!!!
Great airport, you got everything you need food, pharmacy, cafes & hotels. The airport is connected to the metro, makes it easy to go to Paris. Plus the TGV train station.
Plane spotting is limited. Serious photographers interested in exploring the airport grounds must apply for permission at the police préfecture in advance.
also known as Roissy Airport (or just Roissy in French), is one of the world's principal aviation centres, as well as France's largest international airport. It is named after Charles de Gaulle
If you are European and travel through here regularly, get the PARAFE activated on your passport and you can use the automated passportbooth instead of queueing up. Can save up to 30min on a busy day!
If you are Traveling on First or Business Class you will get Access No.1 which get u into a Special lanes at Immigration & Security Check very useful and save like 30 Minutes of quo
This huge french hub is not the best choice if you have a connection flight. Poor indications and long transfers do not help. Very good choice of shops and restaurants on the international concourse.
Prepare to walk, this place is massive. Aircraft takes around 15 minutes from landing to parking. And its access roads, it's like a big city full of exits. Beautiful architecture!
Huge airport. There's even a train to get you through terminals and parking lots. Free Wi-Fi. You can buy tourist tickets for the public transport, and travel safe on any train or bus. I like it.
Terribly inefficient and hard to navigate. Great for if you don't mind dawdling in an airport, bad if you fly very regularly and just want to get to your next flight. Connect thru AMS or LHR instead
Well. One of the worse airport in the world for the security check ! After so many years, still not managed to fix it ! All my friend around the world are making of fun of me as a French guy
The apron is perfectly organised, wireless in the passenger area is unlimited and free of charge. The selection of wines is outstanding in the duty free shops. One of my favourite airports!
Know that it might take up to 1 hour just to get through the passport control. You can't imagine the line for "tax refund". Ask for "credit card reimbursement", much easier. VIP ticket 7EUR.
Welcome to Paris! If you’re fond of gothic architecture, be sure to check out Notre-Dame de Paris. The renowned structure is distinguished for its size and antiquity.
I’m a bit surprised that this airport is the great Paris’s entrance! They should take more care of it. Be aware that you’ll wait long time before you get to finish your check-in. Always crowded.
Loved the leather seats.Lotta sunlight inside.Less options for food/cafe . Would have loved it if there was a view of Eiffel tower 😀 also having a Starbucks would have gained it some brownie points!
One of the less user-friendly airports out there. If it’s a transit, make yourself a favor and avoid it: a high probability you’ll miss your flight and even higher that your luggage will get lost.
Nice airport, it’s has everything one needs. Great lounges, a lot of space for relaxing unlike other airports. Great airport if flying with kids, they have a play area including PlayStations.
Detax tip from a professional Shopaholic ☆ If your total refund amount is over 3000 € ! You can Still have it all in Euro's € and the rest you are obliged to accept another currency ♡ 3000 +
I came here in mid September and it was surprisingly empty (you probably heard about how crowded it is in normal days). Even though there is CoViD pandemic, the procedure was really smooth!
Good wi-fi, well laid out and sign posted. Couple be a bit more family friendly in departure area as not much for my 3 year old daughter to do while we wait for our flight to be called.
Dark and confusig terminals(t2f-t2D specially)all shops and services are closed at midnights) in arrival.thats so stupid for this touristattractingcity!
While CDG is light years ahead of my home airport, New York's JFK, it's nonetheless a sprawling, baffling, and inefficient mess for a major world cityairport. Fly through Amsterdam.
Crowded and pretty old, airport is also really big, so get there with a serious gap before your flight, it may take some time to reach your terminal and gate. WiFi is free in some zones.
This airport is by far one of the best one I ever went too. The wash area is clean & with cool designs. The structure is cool but its so big its so tiring to go on different platform hahaha...
Best Kept (not so secret) Secret, is that on both sides(corners) of concourse 2E there are amazing lounge style couches with the best views of the tarmac. Great for airplane spotting.
This airport perfectly personifies France. It was once beautiful and forward thinking but is now stuck in the past. In Germany, when connecting through FRA or MUC, no additional security required.
Visit the transit information desk for assistance in getting to your hotel, and make sure to travel through one of the escalating tunnels that crosses the chasm in the middle of the airport.
For flights out of the Schengen zone, leave more than ample time to get through the customs check. We waited about 45 minutes in line. And that is before security screening which happens near the gate
Huge airport!Terminal 2E is beautifully built with lots of shops. However if you have connection to 2G and have a non-EU passport brace for long checking at border control. Plan connections properly.
5:30am is when the tax refund office opens. Get there as early as possible as there may be line ups (tour groups) If you get there before 5:30am the automated scanners will APPEAR broken. Just wait.
Opened in 1974, Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport is the largest international airport in France and one of the busiest airports in Europe. In 2019, it handled over 76 million passengers thus making it the world's ninth busiest airport and Europe's second busiest airport after London Heathrow.
