Inefficient airport. Boarding passes should be scanned way before security check. Slow security check. Boring airport. Not so much cafe and shops provided.
In Terminal 2C near check in counter 11, there is free wifi (6 hours!) through "AirFranceLounge". Any attempts to actually find the lounge for a stronger signal, however, will be futile.
At Terminal 2 shopping may be OK. At Terminal 1 shopping is virtually non-existent. Watch out for the prices on alcohol. They will add your country's alcohol tax! Shop in town or back home!

BEWARE of the airporttaxis!!! After i paid the driver, he gave me back a fake card, took mine and withdrew cash from it! Just be careful and always ask for a cab that belongs to a known company.
If the air traffic control works as ground staff, I imagine it like "Oh, well, we did not expect you despite you come every evening, land on runway 1 or 2, just watch for other planes..."
Of all the big airports, this is one of the worse in terms of the way it works for crowd control. It's always crowded with long lines in and out of customs. What a hassle. Please plan waaaaay ahead
Nice: shop selection, architecture, chime sound. Not nice: long security, passport machine didn’t accept my passport, lots of walking, vending machine declined cooperation. So overall is positive 😉
This place is often 'swarming'. Not because it's popular, but because many of the people here arrived in transit years ago and are yet to find their gate. Expect to see a lot of beards.
Had to go through 3 different security gates before I take my flight, slow, confusing airport and some places smell like pee. Free wifi but you have to log back in every 15 mins or less.
Terminal 2G is nowhere near the other terminals and you have to take a shuttle to get there...huge pain in the ass (once you get yourself un-lost in 2F).
Buy stuff in the city. It is cheaper than duty free in most cases then charge it with your card. Head for the duty freebooths (normally at the arrivals area before you drop your bags) to get a refund
Experience in the airport can be very different depending which Terminal you use. Terminal 1 is just confusing, very little service and shops. Free WiFi for 90 minutes.
Tax refund? Customs is located on the 'shuttle' level below departures. Take the elevator down. Process takes about 45 minutes. Have with you: 1) Passport 2) E-ticket or boarding pass
Worst airport in the world! Totally chaotic, too many places to get lost. Something bad always happens to my bags every time I fly to or through! Avoid if at all possible!
Opened in 1974, Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport is the largest international airport in France and one of the busiest airports in Europe. In 2019, it handled over 76 million passengers thus making it the world's ninth busiest airport and Europe's second busiest airport after London Heathrow.
