    All the paths our tarmac or compacted gravel a long the main walks, the only mud we found in February half term was in the overflow car parking areas

    Fabulous grounds and watermill. Manageable sized house to explore. Don't miss the fabulous Labradorite tabletop in the upstairs library.

    More exhibits than any other national trust property ! Take a picnic - beautiful grounds and house. Great kids play area too !!
