My favorite place for a typical Canadian brunch! Quality of food, service, authenticity & good atmosphere all gathered in one place! Try the blueberry pancakes, worth the way 🇨🇦😍
The countryomelette is the best. You don't know an omelette until you have tried this. It has cheddar, bacon, parsley and the best egg. It melts in you're mouth and it is great
Cute little retrodiner, with the old sweet owner greeting you as you enter. The 'Pink' shake is a must - fresh fruit and creamy ice cream. Food is very basic, nothing spectacular
Excellent smoothies and liked the dinner decoration. The brunch menu was overcooked + too expensive, not worth the line up. I recommend this place for a salmon bagel or a smoothie in the afternoon.
Beautys serves up an egg, bacon, and cheddar cheesesandwich on a bagel called the Beautys Bonjour that’s perfection. Also try the special if you're into salmon
Order a smoothie (I loved the Cookies and Cream) and then a meal that includes pancakes. They are small, but you'll understand when you taste them why it is important to get a stack.
Nice little piece of history this spot is :) ridiculous bang for your buck; great food, great staff and you must get the superbeautys 2. A Montreal must!
I really enjoyed my milkshake here, I saw others and they all looked good. I can't remember the exact flavour I had, to recommend :( boo. Excellent staff
Awesome brunch. Not a greasy spoon. Good classic eggs, bacon, and delicious pancakes. You'll probably have to stand in line to get in though, but it's not too bad.
There's something oddly charming about this classic dinner. Not really anything out of the ordinary about the food, but that shouldn't stop you from eating ice cream for breakfast. WinstonWanders.com
The pancakes were super dry, the potatoes brunt and uncooked at the same time, the only thing that was OK in the plate was the eggs. I won't come back. Overrated and pricy. Not worth the detour.
I want to add i used to go there when the owner was still alive and i was saddened to see what it has become since. You’re better off going to la binerie next door.
Given the line, I was exp pitching something transcendent but was greeted instead by the equivalent of Mel's Dinner. The food was bland though there service was fast (after getting through the line).
Terrible service by old man who sits at front. Told me a table was for party of 6 ppl, then put me in the back by bus boy station. Then watched him put party of 2 at that table who came in after us.
Overrated!, everything is just normal. Their coffee is ok. If you can make an omelet at home, believe me you'll make better that what they do. I didn't try their smoothies so I can't comment on it.
