Food as good as grandma's and staff are like old friends. The fried green tomatoes were perfectly crispy and thick cut. The chicken pot pie stirred childhood memories - the good kind.

The lemon meringue pie is only made on weekends or by advance order but it’s the best of its kind I’ve ever had.

Stumbled on this place by accident and what a find. Home cooking, had enough for lunch next day. And make sure you get a pie - they are fantastic, all homemade, and always different.

The only place I will order crab cakes in Atlanta. Bill is from Baltimore and knows how to do a real Maryland crab cake. Backfin lump and no fillers. Makes me homesick. Yum.

I've been here twice now and it's simply over rated. The concept is nice but the food just isn't good. They try to make it into something it's not. How do you mess up mashed potatoes and cornbread? 😷
