Please move to the center of the train upon entering the car or risk causing an accident unnecessarily. If ur getting off soon...don't forget to get off the train to let others off. Be considerate!

Please remember to take all your belongings when leaving... Otherwise Metro employees will think your stuff is a bomb and stop service to check it!

If the trains are crowded and you need to step off to let people out do so and stand next to the door so you csnnget back on. For those standing on the platform, leave room so they can do so.

Make sure you time the doors just right if you have kids in strollers. The doors show no mercy and will slam on you!

One of the busier metro stations. Pay attention to the signs for your train. We try to avoid this station during rush hour.

Seriously? Don't let your kids sit on the escalator stairs on the way down (or up). It's not cute, it's dangerous. And it puts them all up in my way as I hustle to catch the trains!

To arrive in front of the elevator at the Bethesda station, board the Shady Grove-bound train at Metro Center at the center or rear door of the front car. Very useful during rush hour.

Always project your trip by planning the car stops. Mine is the last so I'm the first on the escalator at Takoma...an I never miss a bus or have to think about pushing someone down te escalator either

Orange/Blue: On VA-bound trains, use the front for Grosvenor / Shady Grove Red trains and the rear for Glenmont / Silver Spring Red trains. Reverse for trains from VA. Doors open on the left.

If there is a group of people behind you don't stop the second you get through the door if there is empty space in front of you. It's extremely annoying to have to weave around you.
