A great spot to dine solo at the bar. The fried oysters pair excellently with an allagash white.

We love the oysters, but the Lobster Roll is mind-blowing. The simple bun holds a grand portion of creamy lobster cooked to a perfect texture accompanied by salty, delicious shoestring fries.

The lobster roll is one of the meatiest I've ever had. Strawberry rhubarb pie is also heavenly! However Ed's is still my favorite lobster roll spot in the city. No liquor at Peal's which is a minus.

The聽famous lobster roll at this West Village oyster bar is heavy on the lemony mayonnaise (and the price tag). But it's made with huge chunks of fresh lobster meat and paired with shoestring fries. Read more

This cozy, homey place in West Village makes the best seafood that I've had in years. Oysters are plump and juicy, and the lobster rolls are perfect. The lobster meat is really tender. No happy hour.

West Village institution. The place to go for a splurge on simple but well-prepared seafood.

Lobster roll: Shock for Europeans. Not only that you get oysters at the bar, the lobster is served in bread hot-dog style...and there is more: as side are fancy shoestring french fries.

Luke's, Chelsea Market and Mermaid Inn cannot compete in the lobster roll game with Pearl. Served with the most amazing shoestring fries, this is the best lobster roll dish in NYC.

The lobster roll is chock full of meaty lobster but has a TON of mayonnaise. I'd go for the oysters and boiled lobster (served with a cute ramekin of corn pudding).

My ideal Pearl meal: large bucket of steamers, lobster roll w salad (bc shoestring fries are a pain to eat), and a butterscotch praline sundae.

Great selection of oysters and the boulibasse was good. Skip the lobster roll, it relies to heavily on mayo and seasoning. But get a side of the fries.
