- Bon Appetit MagazineOctober 18, 2016The hole-in-the-wall D.C. coffee shop that proves size doesn’t matter—all while pulling the meanest espresso in town. Friendly, unpretentious staff and a perfect people-watching perch at the window. Read more
- I love the care they put into pour-over cups. Simple, ground to order, and painstakingly coaxed into the perfect cup. Espresso drinks are expertly prepared, if you’re into that sort of thing.
- LOVE this little coffee shop. Smooth, caramely roasts, never burnt. The baristas are lovely, and they play great, chill music (when not in covid times). The current order pickup system is super quick!
- AllenApril 23, 2013Great place for espresso and drip to order. Their single origin beans are great. If you like fancy coffee go here.
- Great selection of coffees from Africa and Latin America brewed fresh by the cup. And a serious hangout for the Capitol Hill cool people.
- Rudi RietAugust 27, 2016Great espresso and hot chocolate. Space is small, but staff are friendly, product is consistently good (baristas here win national awards).
- Nice to see midcity get a taste of peregrine. Go for the espresso drinks for sure. These baristas *really* care about pulling a good shot.
- 67thaveFebruary 14, 2015Great cappuccino here. A little small but a nice spot for morning coffee and a hang.
- Alison SantighianFebruary 26, 2013Latte is lovely. And though I came because the Google listing sez wifi, there is none. Which is a blessing in disguise.

- Josh HigginsApril 28, 2015Very good if you just want very basic coffee drinks. Also tax is already included in prices.
- If you are adventurous, try the specials - they are really creative and often shockingly good.
- Alessandro GionfriddoApril 22, 2013Best latte ever! I Support this small business! The guys are very nice and polite!
- Best coffee in the city. Try a hot Americano, or if you want less caffeine, a sencha hot tea. Nice folks that work here.
- You must get the Karatu pour-over. It's the best cup of coffee in the area!
- Borys PierovNovember 20, 2017Decent espresso but still not as good as the one from "Filter Coffeehouse and Espresso Bar"
- They have a water bowl outside and biscuits for your dog inside--but they do not have outdoor seating...yet?
- Stand and drink the espresso you ordered instead of getting it to go. It tastes better that way.
- For a vegan treat, try the chocolate and peanut butter energy bar!
- M Squared Real EstateOctober 4, 2011Peregrine's lattes are amazing. They also have another location in Captiol Hill.
