The best time to walk Las Vegas BLVD is in the summer evening when the Sun is going down. Much cooler temps at night.

Lights everywhere, with super hotels on the sides... Busy always, great music playing and tons of people coming and going with drinks and singing!
The strip is awesome be safe. Follow all taffic signs and use crosswalks. Drink water. All casinos have restrooms and free parking.

Heading up and down the Strip on your stay? Get the RTC bus pass! It's very inexpensive and a WAY better deal than getting a cab! Plus the RTC goes all the way out to Fremont St Experience!

Chelsea SmithJuly 9, 2012Get a 24 hour bus pass for $7!! Waaaay cheaper than taxis and they stop at every hotel. The bus DOES actually run 24/7 as well, so your ticket is never wasted, unlike you after a night of drinking ;)

Try walking down the strip instead of cabbing it. It's beautiful and helps burn off the extravagant Vegas meals! Plus it was super romantic and cheap! Great for dates <3
Instead of taking cab, try to walk down ! See Bellagio fountain dancing, M&M World, try foot long drinks :)

Cops out here are mounted, on street bikes, motorcycle, & walk on the Strip. Speed limit at certain times-optional.
you can walk up and down the strip right on the street during & before new year's eve. the streets are closed to traffic in the evening for the ocassion.
