- Elaine PoeApril 24, 2014The caipirinha had a bitter taste, probably from lime pith. Guacamole came in a huge molcajete, and was delicious. Fajitas reminded me a bit of what we get back in Texas. Needed beans and cheese.
- If you want to see me then you gotta be here Monday through Wednesday nights and and the occasional Saturday mornings.....You get to see me do what I do best and dread the worst catering to others.
- Jonathan O'ReillyMarch 24, 2013Portions leave something to be desired but the food is great. Awesome margarita HH specials, including MASSIVE frozen margs. Such a chill atmosphere compared to the other stuffy restaurants across P.
- Ivette Rodriguez-KraziemApril 6, 2012Their Salsa is Awesome! Fortunately, I didn't have the experience most have had. I loved the ambiance as well as the staff, and food was pretty good, not the BEST but good.
- Very extensive selection of tequilas which are extremely delicious. Be sure to try the extra anejos tequilas. The food is top notch as well.
- Despite the other poor reviews, I've always had good, prompt, pleasant service. The menu selection isn't huge, but its been good. It's not the best I've ever had, but its still good.
- Plenty of room for Sunday brunch after being told we'd have to wait at least an hour at 3 other places in the neighborhood. Despite what others have said, service was very friendly and helpful.
- Great experience! Friendly staff, terrific drinks/food (guac rocks). Nice addition to a diverse neighborhood.. Definitely will be back!
- Kelly JemisonSeptember 20, 2013Patio is so pleasant. Delicious food, very reasonable. Really great for groups -- they're happy to do individual checks!
- Matt AndreaFebruary 4, 2012The Ahi Tuna Ceviche is wonderful. Great guacamole and vegetable fajitas, too. Nice ambiance & super attentive service. Muy bueno!
- Bathroom sink sensors are very sensitive. Don't button up near the sink. If the sink starts, drop what you are doing and wash, you won't get them started again.
- yumMarch 5, 2013holy shit the salsa and chips were delish! and the pork dish! regular here & its usually a hit or miss. today a hit!
- Gwen Evans-WinstonApril 28, 2017Good good, great drinks, and nice outside seating. Loved this place.
- Ron CostiganMarch 12, 2014The chips are think amd crispy, not greasy. The salsa is delicious and fresh, not to spicy hot. 9/10
- Amanda KruseDecember 30, 2011Not like the one on the Hill. Seems like it's trying to be fancy because it's in Dupont or something. Get chips and salsa because they are free. Also the prickly pear margarita is yummy
- Food was decent, if you want Mexican food, you'll have to go out of DC. Good place to take your group of friends.
- Despite the negative tips from others, I've always had a great experience. Friendly staff and good guacamole.
- Sarah WareJuly 4, 2012Got a salad, didn't realize they hid the word bacon in between all the veggies listed. Waitress very rude/threw menu "so u just want it off ur check now" I replied "I just want it without bacon"
- Joe GizziFebruary 17, 2015While the drinks are on par, the food leaves something to be desired. Have a margarita if you're enjoying P St or 14th, but opt for dinner elsewhere.
- JLFebruary 23, 2016Not even close to as good as the Capitol Hill location. Frozen margs are still the best, though.
- Keith WFebruary 23, 2013i think it would be helpful if the servers started off with what is not available instead of making patrons run through two items that are no available.
- It doesn't hold a candle to the Capitol hill location but better than the sh**hole that is el Centro on 14th
- Kaitlynn KellyJune 14, 2012Pretty expensive, but strong margaritas and delicious guac. My kind of place.
- Melanie DeniseOctober 1, 2013Worst salsa I've ever had. Everything was bland. I got the fish and shrimp tacos and they tasted like paper towels. The shrimp taco had pineapples in them..They thought it was clever, but it wasn't.
- Stephenie BrownMay 5, 2012Food is pretty good. A little over priced. The happy hour specials are worth comming back for.
- Brian JohnsonFebruary 23, 2013Don't advertise $5 margaritas all night long if there is a cut off time.
- Stan ParishFebruary 23, 2013$5 margaritas all night except when they run out halfway through the night #false advertising
- Scott NoonMay 15, 2013Food was great. Came fast. Drinks were good. Took forever. Waitress-- otherwise occupied. Service is a problem.
- Well, another lackluster place to eat. Welcome to the neighborhood, you'll fit right in. (e.g. Rice tastes like 99 cent spanish package)
