- Ali HarrisNovember 26, 2015Pretzel w/ mustard & cheese spread is the best I have personally had in NYC. Meat dishes are tender w/ homemade sour kraut, beers in tap are diverse. A sorely needed new edition to the neighborhood.
- Jose CastroMarch 12, 2018The pretzel is really good. We also had the wiener is also great as is the spatzle. We ended with a strudel to share for the whole family of 4.
- Awesome neighborhood spot!! Had both dinner and brunch here. Great food and service! Shout out to the pretzel and the French toast for brunch. Awesome atmosphere.Upvoted Nov 5, 2024
- Stephen GrazianoJuly 31, 2021Refreshing Gruner on draft, phenomenal beer list, pickled beets + cucumber salad is a must, and homemade bratwurst does not disappoint. Plus, great outdoor seating and kid friendly.
- Yen ChiangApril 16, 2016Been here for brunch and dinner—both fantastic. I'd recommend all the dishes we've had—brunch spaetzel w egg and bacon, bratwurst, Wiener schnitzel, smoked fish palatschinken. Sides are super tasty.
- full menu includes austrian favorites like spatzle and schnitzel, as well as burger, tacos, small plates, pretzels, soup, and salad
- chicken liver terrine with port wine served with toasted country bread and bacon-onion marmelade
- The giant pretzel with liptauer cheese is fun and yum, but the smoked whitefish palateschinken is truly special. Also good schnitzels.
- Sally BonesDecember 5, 2015goulash and chicken schnitzel entrees. calamari special appetizer if they have it!
- Warm outdoor seating, safely separated indoor tables, amazing food and friendly folks. What’s not to love?
- full bar, house cocktails, wines on draft and bottled wines, beers on draft
- Fantastic Austrian/German cuisine in an underdeveloped part of this neighborhood. Friendly staff, good prices.
- only the specials are available mondays for now. full menu other days
- Alex RavenelFebruary 11, 2016Goulash was great. Back room has a wood burning stove that is super cozy.
- back room with communal table and outdoor patio seating
- kaiserschmarrn = fried dough. Def get it if you are into that kind of thing!
- Wayne BennettApril 29, 2017The food was not bad but not much stood out. Pretzel, matzo ball soup and Orange Creme Caramel good . Weiner schnitzel and Chicken paprikesh tasteless. Weird tasting ice tea
- aJanuary 26, 2017None of this was really authentic. I had a very disappointing spätzle. Not worth its price tag.
