If you want to pay £200 to get an anxiety attack, then you should definitely shop there. Appalling customer service. It's not easy to get connected to an agent in the online support chat, and they just keep closing the chat rather than hearing what the issue is and addressing it. Their replies are all copy-paste. My pre-order is going to be dispatched AFTER the release date for the game, and they won't let me come and collect it in person. Are they for real?! Needless to say I will NOT be buying anything from them again, and I will advise all my followers to do the same.

Order 22-12-24 suppose to be delivered 30-12-24. Now the 4-1-05 and still not here . Speaking to game they keep saying we’re waiting to hear of our brand partner who supply the item which as yet they’ve not even replied - so basically you buy off game for some linked company to supply the order yet game cannot tell you or no were or what is going on with item.
I’ve just said just give me a refund I’ll go somewhere else which they can’t because of a the brand partner that I don’t even no I brought off online the. Company was game..,

I was promised a £5 voucher as compensation via their online chat for my £130 order being delayed but that is yet to miraculously appear. I never use to have issues with pre orders at game but since the changes and merge with fraser its safe to say i will never order from GAME again! Awful service!!!

I have been Scammed
I have been Scammed, I ordered the Marvel Pinball machine which is a lot off money, my son had been asking for it from last year so I decided to get it for him, I put my order though and I should of receive it by now, I have tried ringing them, messages them but they are not responding , I have been scammed

Pre-Ordered the Silent Hill 2 game with the steelbook, paying extra for it. The game came later than the release date. But the book was apparently been sent separately, yet was never sent. Don’t give this company your money!
Wish it was possible to give 0 stars. Please don’t ever waste your time or money with this company! I pre-ordered Silent Hill 2 through them as they were offering the collectors steelbook (for a bit more money) with it, which is the only reason I chose them over my usual, more reliable online retailers. I pre-ordered on the 26th of September, ready for release on the 8th of October. Not only did I receive the game 2 days after release date, but it came without the steel book. Nobody contacted me to let me know it would be missing from my order, and upon heading to their website to contact them, there was a separate FAQ stating that there was a delay on steel books and they’d be sent out separately (again, I had to go looking for this info as nobody bothered to tell me). 3 weeks later still no steel book, still no contact from Game. I managed to get through to someone in customer services this morning who then informed me that the steel books were permanently out of stock and I wouldn’t be receiving them, but offered me a £5 voucher as compensation. This is insulting, I’d never spend another penny with this company again, and £5 isn’t going to get you much from them. I am extremely unhappy with the lack of communication, reliability and professionalism from Game, not once did they keep me informed on what was happening, and as far as I’m concerned what they have promised people is false advertising. I’ll be raising a complaint over this company else where (as I was told via chat I could do so but might not be made aware of the outcome of the complaint as it’s all done internally) but please don’t put yourselves through the frustration I have with this company. It’s just not worth it.

Has anyone ordered and received silenthill 2 ps5 with steel book from GAME.co.uk ?
I pre-ordered mine weeks before release date only to have the game turn up followed by a letter saying they didn't have any more steel books in stock but they will send the out when they get more, I have finally managed to contact them only to be told they don't have them anymore but they can offer me £5 as a good will gesture. (Although they are still advertising them for sale online)
I'm wondering if maybe they didn't have any at all and only used it as a ploy to get more sales.

Awfull sales tactics and customer service
Forcefull upsale. The staff was aware I had little money as asked them for the cheapest pack of Pokemon cards. They return with 3 and in front of my child say 3 for 2. Hold on I wanted one. Then they pull out a big shiny card. If you spend over £20 you get this. Thanks making my kid excited now I’m having to buy him that much because if I don’t he will be upset and I only see him for a few hours a fortnight so will ruin this visit. Thanks game. Then on contact there auto net service to complain I was made to feel like it was my fault and I didn’t have to buy anything (true) but was they gonna deal with an upset 4 year old? I have used this company for many years but this has put me right off. So disappointing

Terrible in-store and online customer service
My partner popped into our local Game store to grab me a copy of FF7.
There was a til issue, so she could not use my points or scan my barcode to acquire them from the transaction.
As a person who doesn’t typically shop at Game, my partner obviously asked for some detail (so that she could explain things to me properly) and was rudely shut down with a blunt comment about how if the til isn’t working there’s nothing I can do….
Apart from take money, obviously.
Now I know she can’t strike up the same “nerdy” banter than I can, to better communicate with the game-enthusiasts that typically make up the staff, but I’m sure she still deserves to leave the store feeling like her custom was valued.
Contacted Game customer service who very promptly added the points for my purchase, which was great… thank you, but ignored my complaint at how my partner had been spoken too.
When I went back to them and politely explained that I was disappointed and that as a result I would no longer be shopping with them, they simply replied with “thanks for letting us know, enjoy the rest of your day”.
Its good to see that the company is doing so well that its staff can just actively drive away custom.

Very poor customer service from Chloe and Siphelele at Game customer services, after waiting very patiently for weeks for someone to be even bothered to reply then told to wait again, I spent more time being pleasant and hoping for common sense to prevail, to be offered a measly £10 gift card after waiting a whole month for a resolve.. needless to say they were kindly suggested to offer the amount to charity and say goodbye to any future business from myself. Which was then quickly met with, we'd be more than happy to delete your Game account and is there anything else I could help you with today.....Absolutely horrendous,thank you for showing your company's true thoughts on customer service. Hopefully you will win the award for poor service for many years to come.

Terrible customer service i ordered 18th December paid £9.99 next day delivery well its the 23rd today and its not even been dispatched!! Done live chat 6 times same rubbish replys that i have to be patient and its waiting for the courier to collect from them ! Patience is wearing thin its the same message again and again never ever will i order from them again my boy will be without his game for Christmas!! And the joke is you can still order the same game says get it by tomorrow with next day delivery good luck !!

Shocking customer service!
Shocking customer service!
Order placed 15 November and received by Evri 16 November - And there it stayed as 'we've got your order'. Contacted Game through WhatsApp who said they would investigate and needed 7-10 days. Item was needed as a present for the week after ordering.
Tried to contact Game after 10 days on several occasions but no satisfactory outcome. I then sent an email and was told they couldn't discuss with me as I did not place the order (I did!). My husband then sent an email and was told they couldn't speak to him as he didn't place the order!
We were then advised it would take 30 days to investigate.
A WhatsApp message was received saying there was already an on-going investigation into the order and we were slowing down their response time by asking what was happening. We were made to feel that we were the problem by asking about our undelivered item.
I have now received a refund (13 Dec) and will definitely not be spending anymore of my money with this company.

I'm experiencing terrible service from GAME
customer service is terrible order 3 items on 7th Dec nothing dispatched prob will not come for Xmas. I've sent 6 emails and same customer agent gets back to me called Chelse with patronising I'm sorry your frustrated but repeats same email with no details on it. Submitted tickets waste of time also nothing being done
They are clearly not interested I wish I checked the reviews to see how bad it's got, I now see why shops have closed.
Thankfully I bought on credit card so in a few days I will contact them to reclaim my money
Game you are a disgrace don't even ask me to make another ticket I've done enough and you don't answer them
Be honest with people if you cannot deliver the goods refund us so we can go elsewhere
In the interest of fairness parcel has arrived today 16th December, I ordered it on 7th and paid delivery absolutely shocking
My rating staying same due to the customer services is absolutely appalling
