I bought this Internet a while ago and it just picks nothing up. Its extremely slow and it takes forever to load, I can't believe this type of Internet is allowed. Do not recommend, do not buy

The most awful customer service!!! 3 days of virtual assistance back and forth where I simply asked for the TV only price & cancel broadband. Would not confirm TV price ….asked for confirmation of my decision over n over and would still not accept my cancellation.

Sky broadband isn’t capable of live streaming a statue. Since day one I have had trouble. Sick of telling sky. I can’t even watch sky tv as use their puck. Basically I run anything I want to watch on the tv through my mobile. Absolutely useless and they don’t care. Can’t wait till my contract ends.

After 18 months of being a good customer on a discounted rate then put it up such a high rate so much for loyalty disgusting all the profit they make just got you having to keep swapping all the time

What a complete waste of time this company is

What a complete waste of time. No internet. First it's not a line issue and have to wait two weeks for an engineer. Complain then to be told it is a line issue and BT openreach need to attend to sort. Text message from Sky saying line fixed. Still no internet. Complain again who say not a line issue need a Sky engineer but have to wait 10 days. An hour and half on the phone. Can't speak to a manager and they can't do anything else for me. Worst Company I have ever dealt with.

Awful service

Awful service. I ordered broadband, and the company sent me the Wi-Fi router and other equipment. However, over a month later, I was still not connected, and they told me they had some issue with their sub-contractor.

As a customer, that is not my concern. I signed up for service with your company, and it's your responsibility to ensure that it is delivered, regardless of third-party involvement. Blaming a sub-contractor is unprofessional and doesn't excuse the delay.

Also the lack of communication and transparency was extremely frustrating. I kept having to call them looking for updates.

The website is so stupid that everytime…

The website is so stupid that everytime i'm trying to press "moving home" it tells me to try again later or to "sign out,close the window and try again later" and sends me back to sign in page. I'm signed in and i just want to move the broadband where i will be moving as well, but apparently this is too much for all the billions they take from us. It's too hard to update their website at least with the basic things. "THANKS SKY" you're LAME!

Quite literally the worst possible…

Quite literally the worst possible choice for a broadband provider I’ve used many different broadband providers and none compare to how awful sky is, I pay for the most expensive “fastest” broadband which gives me a poor 30mbps on a lucky day, if you plan on using sky wifi DONT, expect awful range, constant latency and zero connection stability, awful you couldn’t pay me to use this

Switched to sky broadband - Mistake

Switched to sky broadband. Line is setup and went live as planned. However router was supposedly dispatched on 24 September and never made it to Royal Mail who are the delivery provider, so obviously never got one delivered. Phoned Sky to ask for another router to be dispatched so i can actually use the broadband they setup and i pay for. They supposedly escalated it to a team (called it the IT team) to dispatch another one. But nothing has happened for 4 days. Phoned customer service to follow up 6 times and they say its impossible for them to contact the team responsible (despite the team existing within the same organisation, sky). You cannot make this up. I was told i must just wait for the other team to close the issue with an unknown turnaround time. Honestly atrocious first sky experience and customer service. Likely to cancel

Simply the worst experience ever

Simply the worst experience ever. 1* is being kind. Broadband is always dropping out. I've just went an evening where Sky TV is constantly buffering or losing connection. I get technical fault messages, reloading page messages and more. So bad it's almost fraud. Save your money and send a letter it will be quicker.

Would give zero stars if there was an…

Would give zero stars if there was an option. My WiFi keeps dropping in and out and often it decides it does not want to allow me to stream at all. I know I am not the only one as my mums who lives in a different area to me is the exactly the same. I am paying £38.00 a month for a very poor service. If you are thinking about using sky, don't bother and find another provider.

Had sky fibre installed after having sky broadband for many years which was very reliable and since the swap I had no end of troubles it turned out to be the new router that was the issue I'm using my 7 yr old router now and it's working fine I'm reluctant to swap the new replacement over as they are obviously flawed

6 weeks ago switched to Sky and…

6 weeks ago switched to Sky and received a contract for £27 via Email. Given confirmation and date 13/09, with landline number and a/c number. Today still no package etc. i rang the very very rude operative who found my a/c and said because I had missed an engineer appointment (none arranged) the contract could not be fulfilled, so I’d have to cancel and start again. Rang to cancel (25 min wait) and Del said I could have a new contract for £26! Very happy! BUT the next operative in “new contracts” (after trying to UPSELL) told me no, the cheapest contract would be £43! They already took £5 from me which I will most definitely be getting back before telling them where to stick their offer. Horribly let down… by SKY.

Customer service are that bad, when you call them to cancel your Internet, they can't even do that.

So a sky Internet customer here.. we were promised 36mbps minimum.. we kept getting around 2mbps.. called them up they said they would call us back with a time slot for an engineer.. nothing, called them back another 2 times because the customer service centre couldnt do their jobs properly, an engineer came out and it turns out there "was nothing wrong"

It litterally got to a point where we had enough of it so we decided to part ways and cancel the sky Internet..

Here's the funny bit.. the comsterservice centre didn't action the cancellation.. then we got struck by lightning after the supposed cut off date and it blew up the broadband box.. we had to fight them to send a new one because even though the box made a pretty white flash and blew up they wouldn't believe us and wanted us to wait a week for an engineer to test that it was broken before they would send us a replacement and they couldn't book us a test with an engineer for a over week and also wanted us to use the qbox even though it was now a potentially a fire hazard that it had be subjected to extremely high voltages.. after 4 phone calls they believed us and sent a new box..
The engineer finally came out to us and told us the master socket was faulty.. but wouldn't replace it because of unsafe conditions in our loft.. (we live in the countryside and he was claiming something was dead in the loft) called out the pest controller who said there's nothing there.. three weeks later we now have intermittent Internet, no wifi extender (because of a glitch on your app) and the worst customer service I've ever experienced in my entire life) and we tried to leave and they couldn't even do that! *we are currently looking at going to the ombudsman and possibly a watchdog to tell our story*

Don't go with Sky because they will trap you and won't let you leave!!!

Sky broadband is the most in the entire planet!!! …

Sky broadband is one of the most worse biggest piece of rubbish in the entire planet and their employees are the most worse employees int entire planet Busness’s their sky glass TV is nothing but big plate of soil food ripping customers off with the service that is not even working their mobile net is just as piece of rubbish as their TV their employees can’t even identify the problem because they just all under qualified for the damn job they do telephone waiting is 1 hours or and more what a rubbish nonsense of an abuse while we pay our money for the service that is absolutely zero one of their employees even advised us to go to Virgin because they actually see the dead service they provide for their customers they can’t even try and convince their customers to stay as other companies employees do how on Earth a company can have employees like that who are encouraging customers to join other services providers and recommend others companies rather than the company they work for wow yesterday on the phone call I was actually shocked how workers can actually betrayal their employer what does that say ? Exactly? It means they are not happy for the job and their bosses and the company they work for so they will do anything to crash it mmmm shocking !!!

unreliable rubbish

Constantly going down and no help from the terrible customer service team. I would not recommend sky to anyone, Ripoff.. the company needs investigating

Never in my life again will I use sky for anything. Rubbish network rubbish billings just never again in my life I’m so frustrated I never review things online but this is just terrible

Absolutely rubbish

Literally the worst WiFi ever. Only had it a couple of weeks and been on the phone to them every other day and had 2 new hubs sent out. Nothing changes, still rubbish. Vodafone are much better so go there instead

No broadband service for 4 months

No broadband service from June to September 2024. I was told by sky I am in a contract. I have been paying for the past 4 months with no broadband internet service. Sky blames OPEN REACH for fibre issues. Please do not use sky. They lie about everything. Unfortunately, I have another account with them. When my contract ends on 14 November 2025 I will terminate both accounts. Poor service. Please don't make the same mistake. In the past they were good. Now it's the worst service ever.

I have been with sky for over 20 years but I think its time to change. I upgraded to fibre and it got worse! Always disconnecting and i live in a built area!

Sky broadband is utterly useless can’t even download a simple email straight away having to wait ages, customer service are a joke. The bloke from outreach took over five hours to connect our equipment. Worst mistake off my life
