AFFILIATES | HORNED FROG SPORTS NETWORK STAFF | SPANISH BROADCAST STAFF

TCU Athletics and Learfield's Horned Frogs Sports Properties, its exclusive multimedia rightsholder, have announced a five-year partnership with iHeartMedia Dallas/Fort Worth to provide a comprehensive radio content package to enhance coverage and exposure for the Horned Frogs.

The new partnership kicks off this fall with TCU football games airing on iHeartMedia's Lone Star 92.5 station. Alongside game broadcasts, the classic rock station will feature a 60-minute pregame show and a 45-minute postgame show. Additionally, Lone Star 92.5 will host the weekly radio show for Head Football Coach Sonny Dykes.

TCU men's basketball will also have a new home on iHeartMedia's Talk Radio 1190 AM. The station will offer 30-minute pregame and 45-minute postgame shows during game broadcasts. Talk Radio 1190 AM will also air radio shows featuring Head Men's Basketball Coach Jamie Dixon and Head Baseball Coach Kirk Saarloos.
The Horned Frogs Sports Network broadcasts for football will originate on Lone Star 92.5 and will also be available on the iHeartRadio app and worldwide on both the official TCU Athletics app and Learfield's Varsity Network app. In addition to the game play-by-play, the classic rock station will feature a 60-minute pregame show and a 45-minute postgame show.  Lone Star 92.5 will also host the weekly radio show for Head Football Coach Sonny Dykes.

The Horned Frogs Sports Network from Learfield has been selected as the best play-by-play broadcast in the state of Texas seven of the last ten years. The award-winning Brian Estridge will continue in his longtime role as the 'Voice of the Horned Frogs.' Landry Burdine and Elvis Gallegos will again join Estridge on the football broadcasts, while Colin Boddicker and Bingo Merriex remain a part of the men's basketball announce team.

Brian Estridge (Play-By-Play)
The broadcasting career of Brian Estridge began in South Carolina at the age of 14, with stops along the way in North Carolina and Ohio before arriving in Texas two decades ago. Brian begins his 25th season as the "Voice of the TCU Horned Frogs" this fall. In addition to his insightful and entertaining play-by-play radio duties for TCU, Estridge has also provided play-by-play for numerous ESPN television, Fox Sports Net, Campus Insiders Mountain West Network and CBS/Westwood One radio productions. In addition to his play by place responsibilities, he also serves as the Director of Corporate Development with the United Way of Tarrant County.

The President of RedVoice Productions, LLC and founding partner of First Team Ventures, his company also produces, markets and distributes college football bowl games on radio nationally. This full-service marketing company also represents the First Responders Bowl, Ben Hogan Award and numerous college basketball in-season tournaments to potential corporate partners.
 
A native of Kershaw, S.C., his play-by-play work for TCU has been honored by the Texas Associated Press Broadcasters as the best in Texas 14 times since his arrival in Fort Worth. A graduate of Appalachian State University, Estridge and his wife, Dr. Rebecca Ringer, reside in Colleyville with their two children Gaines and Ellie. Active in the community, Estridge serves on the Executive Boards of the Davey O'Brien Foundation, the Armed Forces Bowl, and the Ben Hogan Award. He also volunteers for numerous charitable organizations including HOPE Farm and FCA, Salvation Army and has served as a mission trip host to Cuba on multiple occasions. He is a member of the Board of Deacons of his church, First Baptist Grapevine. His hobbies include coaching youth sports and saltwater fishing.
 
Landry Burdine (Color)
Landry Burdine enters his 11th season with Horned Frogs Sports Network and his first as color analyst. A former Horned Frogs safety, Burdine concluded his career as a team captain for the 1998 squad that won the Sun Bowl, TCU's first bowl victory in four decades. Today, he is an active member of the TCU Block T Association and served a prior stint as the organization's president.
 
Elvis Gallegos (Sideline Analyst)
Elvis Gallegos, a four-year letterman as a Horned Frogs safety (2003-06), is in his second season as a sideline analyst and 15th season overall. Gallegos played in 45 games as a Frog while helping the team post three 11-win seasons and a pair of bowl victories. He finished second on the team in tackles in 2004 with 56 stops while making a career-high seven starts at free safety in TCU's defensive system.
 
Dave Shook (Studio Host)
Dave Shook is entering his second year as the studio host for the Horned Frog Sports Network, continuing a career that has spanned more than a decade working with schools in the Big 12.
Prior to joining the HFSN, Dave worked as the studio host for the Kansas Jayhawks radio network from 2012-2017 before joining the Baylor Bears radio network and serving as their studio host from 2017-2023.
In addition to his experience as a studio host, Dave is also an accomplished play-by-play broadcaster. His credits include national radio broadcasts of the MAC Football Championship Game, the ACC Men's and Women's Basketball Championship, the SEC Women's Basketball and Softball Championship. Dave is also regularly heard and seen on various broadcasts for NC State, North Carolina, Wake Forest, Campbell and Davidson athletics events.   
 
Marshall Newhouse
Marshall Newhouse is an eleven-year NFL veteran offensive tackle, Super Bowl Champion, and entrepreneur. An alumnus and All-American out of TCU, he was originally selected by the Green Bay Packers in 2010 where he spent four seasons and was part of the Super Bowl XLV championship team. Marshall has also competed for the Cincinnati Bengals, New York Giants, Oakland Raiders, Buffalo Bills, Carolina Panthers, New Orleans Saints, New England Patriots, and Tennessee Titans. He’s currently on the inaugural Big 12 Alumni Council, NFLPA Athletic Advisory Board, serves as an advisor for Techstars Sports Accelerator, and is an Athlete in Residency at Next Play Capital. A Dallas native, Newhouse currently resides in Austin.

SPANISH BROADCAST

Learfield’s Horned Frogs Sports Properties and TCU Athletics have partnered with a new Spanish radio station, KTNO 620 AM, to bring TCU Football game broadcasts to all Horned Frog fans. KTNO is a radio station with uplifting and encouraging programming 24 hours a day. Founded in 1989, KTNO has been serving North Texas for 35 years, becoming a vital resource for the community.

Miguel Cruz (Play-By-Play)
Miguel Cruz, a veteran broadcaster in the Metroplex area, became the first-ever play-by-play announcer for TCU's Spanish language broadcast when it debuted on Univision Radio 1270-AM in 2010. Cruz has spent the last 15 years covering sports in Dallas-Fort Worth for Univision. In addition to hosting the daily radio show Ultima Jugada 1270 AM and the weekly television show Accion Deportiva Extra on Univision 23, Cruz also has been sideline reporter for Dallas Cowboys broadcasts and provided Spanish color analysis for the Dallas Mavericks' Univision radio broadcast.

Rolando De Luna (Color)
Rolando de Luna Jr, a Physician Assistant at MD Anderson Cancer Center returns for his second year as Color Analyst on the Spanish broadcast of the Horned Frogs Sports network.  A native of Houston, De Luna spent several years in Tampico, Tamaulipas Mexico. A  Lt. Col. in the Air National Guard he graduated from TCU in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. De Luna was a walk-on member of the TCU football team in the mid 1990’s under Coach Pat Sullivan. He and his wife have 3 children and reside in Houston.  In his spare time he enjoys traveling, hiking, overlanding and watching college football.
