Data sharing policy - Uber Tembici
This policy describes how Tembici and Uber share your personal data in order to provide the Tembici bike booking services you have requested through the Uber application (“Services”). You will be able to find and reserve Tembici bikes through your Uber app, and bike rental and sharing services will be provided by Tembici.
What personal data do we share?
To enable you to order the Services directly through the Uber app, Uber will share the following information with Tembici:
Your account data (name, email and telephone), to allow Tembici to create an account and make the reservation; Location data of the requested bicycle and location of the bicycle return; Travel data and your address, in case of incidents that occur during the use of the Services or if necessary for the provision of support by Tembici.
Tembici will share the following information with Uber:
Trip data for your trip history and to allow Uber to issue receipts (ride date, start and end time, trip duration, route information including bike pick-up location, bike drop-off location, and distance travelled, and amount charged).
Uber and Tembici act as sole controllers of your personal data, and will share personal data during your use of the Services. For the processing of your personal data by Tembici in relation to the Services, we recommend that you consult Tembici’s Privacy Policy.
Why do we share your personal data?
Uber and Tembici use personal data to provide the Services - as described above -, detect and prevent fraud, offer discounts and other products or services to you, for security and protection purposes, and to improve products and services.

Uber if the request concerns account creation or linking, payment methods, or how to find available bikes;
Tembici if the request concerns the trip or the reservation of the bicycle.
In some cases, Uber and Tembici may share data submitted by you as part of your request to help provide support.
Data sharing by Tembici
In order to operate, Tembici may have to share (real-time) location data from its bicycles with local authorities. This means that these authorities may have access to your location while you are using the Services. If you don’t want to have your location shared, you shouldn’t use Tembici bikes in that city.
Want to stop sharing your personal data?
You can disconnect your account at any time using this form. Your account will be reconnected if you decide to use the Services directly through the Uber app again.
