    We camped at Long Pine Key Campground for 2 weeks and had an awesome time. Better than Flamingo because you still get cell service and lots of walks in the area. Beware of sinkholes in the limestone!

    Don't forget to bring insect repellent! The place is beautiful, it offers an unforgettable landscape and lots of species of birds and insects. Alligators are the main attraction.

    near sawgrass and just want to take a peek? you can turn around at the broward county rest stop about ten miles out. a few spots on the way to stop and watch for wildlife.

    Stop here and check out the visitor center.. Gather knowledge then head to the gates and pay your $10 which is good for a week! It's worth the money especially if its a quick visit & you have time

    Best camping EVER! I recommend Flamingo at the very end of the Everglades. Campon the beach/marsh and wake up to dolphins playing at the shore!

    Come back at night with a powerful flashlight - you'd be able to see gators under the water and spot small ones by the shine of their ones - something that sunlight just wouldn't let you do.

    Walk slowly and be sure to focus your attention to the water areas that are shaded. This is where you tend to spot the most wildlife.
