I purchased Jennie Ritchie's Half light Half Dark A joyful romp through the seasons. To say this book is a pleasure to read is an understatement. Each page is full of beautiful photography and inspiration to get the most out of each month and embrace it for what it is. So far I've only read to March as reading it a month at a time but I especially love the things to do and all the recipes. So far we've made a delicious vegetarian ministrone with kale and buffalo mozzarella, coffee and walnut cake( that got rave reviews with the family) and oat banana and almond bites with my little ones are having as snacks most days. I thoroughly recommend this book if you want something that both looks good but has some absolute seasonal gems inside.
