If zero star rating was an option
If zero star rating was an option, I would’ve chosen that!
Extremely disappointed in the service and follow up.
The sales team were very eager to sell me their business broadband and telephone package on their fast fiber network, signed up to the 24 month contract, and they promised that everything would be up and running within two weeks.
BT open reach appointed a subcontractor who came to do the necessary cabling, etc. Installed the box for the cabling, inside the business address. Their contractors said they would need to come back and do the rest from the outside, however since there was a flat roof above the ground floor extension, I was told it was a health and safety issue because they had to use a ladder.
On the day the installation engineer said that it wouldn’t be an issue and they would still do the install I would need to make another appointment to arrange that.
On Friday evening at 6:22 PM I received a text message that my order had been cancelled, I called in on Saturday morning to find out why and I was told that nobody was in attendance at the appointment, my business probably had 10 people on site throughout the contractor visit, I explained this to their technical support team who then said they would get somebody to call me back at 9:15 AM on 13/04/24
No, call back so I called them this morning 15/04/24 the customer service representative blatantly said “well we can’t do it” the explanation again they would have to use a ladder and health and safety issue. The telephone representative said the contract would be cancelled.
They suggested I speak to my previous supplier to who Sky had
already given notice to on my behalf, the Sky representative didn’t give a toss I asked to speak to a manager I was told I didn’t have an operating line and broadband and therefore I have no contract so it wasn’t really their problem.
BT open Reach subcontracted to another installation engineer and they basically wasted a number of hours and my time showing them where the cabling, telephone Internet points etc.
They really were not interested,
If you want, proper business telephone and broadband, don’t use Sky, it’s been an awful experience knowing that my business relies on the internet to receive prescriptions.
