Attending Connectd's launch event in NYC, and it exceeded all expectations. The panelists shared big, actionable insights, and the room was filled with experienced advisors, investors, and entrepreneurs who have truly "been there, done that." Great onboarding experience

So far the experience with the platform has been great - very modern approach to networking and has connected me to several interesting businesses. Also, learned a lot through their advisory training courses.

Beware of Paying to Be an Advisor

As an entrepreneur and an experienced advisor, I was appalled to discover this company demands $3,000+ for the mere “potential” of becoming a startup advisor. Let me be clear: no legitimate opportunity should require you to shell out money for the privilege of contributing your expertise.

This practice feels like a blatant cash grab targeting those eager to break into advisory roles. If you’re looking to become a startup advisor, focus on building relationships, showcasing your skills, and gaining real-world experience—don’t fall for pay-to-play schemes like this one.

Entrepreneurs and advisors, stay vigilant and don’t waste your money here.

Don't waste your time

They rescheduled and then didn't turn up to the call. They didn't even send an email to apologise. Don't waste your time.
Update 20/01/2025: they said that they called me prior to the online meeting to inform me. Calling one hour prior to the meeting, isn't what I would call proactive. Also, I had other meetings and couldn't answer the call. They also said that they sent an email to apologise. This happened after I shared the review here, one day later.

Best Networking Platform - US-Based Business

We are so happy to have found Connectd! After a long and grueling search, we ultimately hired our CFO, whom we met on the platform.

Alex, and the rest of the staff have been extremely helpful in assisting us with building out our profile and maximizing our exposure.

We have several meetings coming-up with potential investors via Connectd, and I'm confident we will find the right fit for our business.

Superb platform.

The support staff are excellent, always eager to help and understanding of your situation. Their advisors are off a high standard. The platform is easy to use and comes with many features and services. But the biggest takeaway is the affordability, I've not came across any other platform that beats Connectd on value for money.

Very helpful and we secured AWS Credits quickly.

Signed up with Connectd and was very quickly set up with Amazon to claim $5k in AWS startup credits. It was just what we needed to get going on our cloud hosting. Alex and the team were very helpful and we continue to use the Connectd platform to help us with the different aspects of company build out. Thanks!

Connectd has created something very special

Connectd has something very special. From the intial conversations which were pitched at exactly the right level for what I was seeking, to the onboarding, development and learning, the experience has been a total success. I am at the beginning of a journey to becoming a board adviser and feel well supported so far. Importantly, it's working at a pace that suits me, and also receiving the expertise and advice when needed from mentors and those within the Connectd community.

CONNECTD Experience 2023/2024

The team are incredibly passionate about what they do and they can't do enough for you to help get you engaged in the platform and set up with relevant placements. Avoid. Their business model isn't great

Their options for advisers are not good value. Essentially you pay them 4800 GBP over 2 years, plus commit to pro-bono work. After which for an annual 600gbp fee you can use their platform to find paid board or ned jobs. Same for fractional CTO stuff. If they want good quality advisers the model needs to change completely.
