I used Dansktandforsikring for years, and it was always the best insurance. Since last year their services went down so badly that I will no longer use them. In their explanations of why they would not cover the dental expense, they clarify that the Tooth was treated before or it was decayed. Well, isn't it the purpose of the insurance that it covers the treatment of unwell tooth? Let's compare the Dansktandforsikring to any other healthcare insurance: can you imagine that doctor is refusing patient a treatment because he is sick or was treated before? That is exactly the gibberish you get from Dansktandforsikring.

I am very satisfied with my decision, they were available to cover expenses from day one, and always were willing reimburse me the valid expenses.

IDA Tandforsikring is useless
I got IDA Tandforsikring (covered by Dansk Tandforsikring) for a year and the selvrisiko is so high the insurance pays out only if you get 2 checkups and many small fillings (bigger ones don't even count) or break your teeth accidentally. I don't recommend it and won't get it next year.

Terrible experience and policy offer
I ordered Dansk Tandforsikring Plus and my dentist sent required information to them 2-3 days later so that they can make an offer. On the website, they say that their processing time is 7-10 days after they receive information from dentist. But nothing happened for 3 weeks, until I started to write and call them. They told me that the bitewings (x-rays) provided by my dentist is too old and that she will be contacted again to send new ones. OK, I can live with that. But my dentist was not contacted for another 2 weeks. Then I got a call saying that I must tell my dentist myself to send new bitewings! Why on Earth did they took them 5 weeks to inform me that!!? This should have been done within 10 days, as they state on their site.
I went to my dentist and asked her to send the updated bitewings. One week later I receive a policy offer, where they excluded 19 teeth (68%) from the coverage. Basically, all the teeth that have had fillings, root canal treatments and crowns already where excluded. Half of them were put on reduced coverage and half of them removed from any coverage. I don't understand why exclude teeth with crowns because they are unlikely to be treated or changed for at least 10 years. Only 9 completely healthy teeth were covered fully, and those are likely to stay healthy for the rest of my life.
OK, it's a commercial company and they don't want to loose money on me. I get it. I expected that they would exclude teeth with a high risk of being treated in future. I understand it. But they basically removed everything that have even a slightest degree of risk. I did not expect that it would be to such an astonishing degree. The offer does not provide me with any benefits at all and it does not make any sense for me to buy it. And if it's a profit-oriented company, they should at least try to make sure that a customer does not wait for 5 weeks just to be told that he needs to contact his dentist himself. In total, I wasted 7 weeks to get the crappy offer, while I could have examined other options during this time.
