I went to get a carpet fitted and the fitters damaged my property. I contacted customer support who refused compensation and they simply stopped responding.

The staff in Sallins are very helpful. Bought flooring for downstairs, bedroom carpets and will be back for the stair carpet when refurbishment complet. Great range of top quality products. Definitely recommend.

I had ordered a new bed and mattress for Christmas last minute and John in the westend store was very attentive and helped me pick the bed that was best suitable for me, I had it delivered at the expected date and the delivery drivers were very kind, I will definitely be coming back and recommending Des Kelly to friends and family.

Please see previous reviews in relation to an issue which had the potential to cost us €850 as a result of changing our minds after ordering carpet for 2 bedrooms and instead opting for wooden floors instead. While DK has resolved our issue it was on the basis that we were were treated as first time customers rather than customers of over 30 years during which time we have spent €000's and €000's on carpets and beds from DK. I want to acknowledge the input of Sandra in DK customer service in bringing this issue to a conclusion. She deserves 5 star for her efforts but was obviously overruled in her efforts to treat us as longstanding customers. This has been a painful experience which leaves me resolved to take any future business elsewhere. The 3 star review is acknowledgement that DK finally made some effort in resolving the issue.

It was my first time ordering through the website and lo and behold, deskelly.ie is one of the few companies who deliver when they promise they will. Customer Care is great to answer queries related to the product and delivery dates. And the product is exactly as described on the website! I will definitely shop here next time when I need something as they are reliable and honest, which unfortunately is not that common when online shopping.

Hi,everyone ,my name is raysa is originally from romania,im a single mother with 2 kids looking for a bed to buy for my kids,i am a lovely person i respect everyone,i dont like to arguewith anybody,whener i go to a shop i politely shop and ask for help,I went today in the store that's located in blanchardstown coolmine industrial estate,I was there me and my aunties,to have a look for a bed and matress for my kids,they have the beds upstairs at the first floor,so I politely called someone to help me,the man that works there claiming to be a educated and customer service manager, came to me ,i asked if he can make a deal for me to buy a bed and matress ,being very rude he said no,I said can you help me with a matress he haid no,I asked him politely are you ok? Are you happy to help me? He said no,then i asked him if he is racist because this was his behavior, he didn't allowed me to ask any questions or anything he immediately called his colleague and ask me to leave the store,saying I insulted them by asking if he is racist,why this discrimination is happening? Did I do anything wrong by coming to this store? At the beginning of the year me and my auntie we bought mattresses and lot of stuff from their store and we were very happy customers,but they had different staff,why people trowing they bad energy and negativity on customers if they had a bad day? I'm very unhappy with their services

Des Kelly team in the shop were ok but the real problems started with their fitters- who we did not get any choice about. Claudio and his team of fitters were awful! I can’t begin to explain the frustration. He’s so unreliable, incompetent, blames everyone else for his mistakes including us and members of his own team. The Des Kelly customer service team have been useless, slow to respond and have offered no solution. After 5 visits to our house (not including all the times he said he’d come and never showed up), he still hasn’t managed to finish our floors! The flooring he has managed to complete is poor quality and he has made multiple mistakes along the way- some he fixed and some he hasn’t fixed. If I could give zero stars I would.

Over the years I have used Des Kelly Carpets on Long Mile Road. I have always found the showroom staff to be very polite and helpful. The fitters that have arrived to do work in my home on laminate floors and laying carpets have always done a superb job. I have never found a single fault in their work. I would highly recommend Des Kelly's to anyone. Great company to deal with.
