Terrible company, should have read the reviews first. These thieves took our money and held it for over a week constantly asking for more information and and for the SAME DOCUMENTS to be sent again. Their website said it would only take 1-3 days, this is false. We're trying to get a refund on our money now and have been scammed out of a few hundred dollars in the fee they charge. Joke of a business.

I made a 2 payments with Escrow using bank wires. The bank wires were sent same day and 7 days laters Escrow continues to ignore me and hold my money. It has been stuck on “Reviewing Received Payment”. Absolute joke of a company, don’t even bother using them. I would understand if they didn’t receive my money, but they’ve had it a full week now.

Octavio was very patient in handling some things for me... I had not interacted with Escrow.com for probably 15+ years and of course technology has changed there at Escrow.com :-) ..... so I was recalling some of the procedures back then and Octavio was leading me down the new path of greater simplicity :-) :-)

Do NOT use escrow.com!!! Wish I could give 0 stars. I used them for a title transfer and wire transfer only for a vehicle purchase and they refuse to release the title, even after all of their documented criteria have been met. After the expected 2 business days, escrow.com has decided to "hold the transaction for further investigation indefinitely" which they openly admit is not documented anywhere in their terms or policies on their website. They continue to request more and more outlandish documents/forms (not stated in their terms/conditions) and once a document is provided, they change the rules and demand something else. Escrow.com is a SCAM!!!!

Absolutely Terrible

I made a 2 payments with Escrow using bank wires. The bank wires were sent same day and 7 days laters Escrow continues to ignore me and hold my money. I should have read the reviews before I…

I should have read the reviews before I used this service. What a horrible waste of time. I started a transaction a week ago and paid the full amount at that time. Both the buyer (me) and seller are still waiting. They tell me they are awaiting verification of the payment yet they have shown the payment as received for a week. I asked to speak to that department and they told me they cannot take calls. I cancelled the transaction and I'm not even sure I can salvage the transaction. I wouldn't blame the seller if he didn't want to deal with me anymore as this was my suggestion to use Escrow.

Do NOT use escrow.com!!! Wish I could give 0 stars. Literally impossible to receive payout

Literally impossible to receive payout.
Escrow.com only accepts USD bank accounts to payout via Wire or ACH, and they do NOT accept internet banking of any kind. Using Wise, N26 or Slash doesn't work; they simply say they don't accept that kind of USD accounts, even though I do thousands of dollars per day in transactional volume on them without issue (receiving ACH and wires daily).
As a non-US citizen, I literally have no option to give Escrow.com a bank account that they can send my payment.. they are unwilling to convert my USD to EURO and don't accept any kind of accessible US account that a european can have... now what? they just hold my money without a solution.
Avoid at all cost.

The whole transaction took 3 weeks to even get processed so this whole process is now taking well over a month to do. Avoid avoid avoid.

edit: 4 days later, I get an email saying the country of my bank isn't supported. Yet when I open the list of accepted countries, it is literally right there..
You could swear this company is trying to make people hate them at the best of their abilities, just so they can keep the money.
How can you email me saying something is incorrect, while the link you send me says the opposite?
Worst experience of my entire life, dealing with this company.

Octavio was very patient in handling some things for me... I had not interacted with Escrow.com for probably 15+ years and of course technology has changed there at Escrow.com :-) ..... so I was recalling some of the procedures back then and Octavio was leading me down the new path of greater simplicity :-) :-)

Used their escrow service before and it…

Used their escrow service before and it works great. Had a recent issue where my bank sent too much money and they had to issue a refund. Got complicated and my customer rep, Juan, was amazing. Super patient and proactive the whole time and eventually got it done. I plan tot use them in the future and specifically ask for him.

Worst experience ever!

For two weeks, the buyer and I (the seller) have been stuck in a frustrating cycle due to Escrow’s repeated requests for the same documentation, which we have uploaded more than three times. Instead of streamlining the process, they ask irrelevant questions that only add unnecessary delays, all while continuing to hold our money.

Every time we reach out for clarification or assistance, the inquiry is routed to someone different, and we end up explaining the situation over and over without any real progress. It's a never-ending loop with no resolution in sight. After two weeks, Escrow is still holding our money and asking for the same documentation we’ve already provided.

If you want to feel completely powerless, infuriated, and stuck in a failed automated system, then go ahead and use Escrow.

Bad first time experience with Escrow

First time trying to purchase from Escrow. if you are european you will have a hard time completing the transaction and be preparted to contact support a few times. you will be only able to pay by wire but they want to receive the amount in dollars so unless you have also an account in dollars which in Europe is extremely rare you will not be able to complete the purchase. In the first purchase you will not be able to use credit card or Paypal so you are basically out of luck. Support told me that they will try the Paypal invoice route which is really strange as it involves emails and that is always subject to phishing. All in all a very poor experience with this company.

The service is overall horrible

The service is overall horrible. They request your contract but only track whether the domain is transferred so if other assets are included they will not verify them. They also purposefully overcharge the buyer then offer a refund wire or to allow them to donate the funds. Lastly they hold on to the money as long as possible obviously to benefit from the interest. Definitely not worth the risk.

Utilized Escrow.com for a vehicle…

Utilized Escrow.com for a vehicle purchase. The fee was excessive, but thought better safe than sorry. The transaction was completed on 11/1/24 and I was assured title would be overnighted that day. That did not happen and I still don’t have the title on 11/4/24. I asked for tracking # , which they will not provide. So , I have a vehicle with no title , and no idea when I will receive It.

8+ Days & No Approval

8 days and not only no payment processed, but also no contact at all. So that excuse of potentially mismatched information is out the window. “Hey, your information is wrong, please update this, this, and that.” I used a debit card so it’s a transfer of already existing funds from a big name bank. I didn’t use a line of credit or a third party program like PayPal. What the heck is the problem? EIGHT DAYS?! C’mon now, that’s ridiculous. Its been 8 days and it still hasn’t been processed. Which means it will be longer than that. Never using Escrow in the future, you lost a long-term customer since what I’m purchasing right now is expected to be a frequent purchase. You’ll be out of business if you keep this up. Don’t use Escrow.com.
