Unreliable

I recently had an incredibly frustrating experience with Gavan Duffy (Dublin, Ireland). We had agreed on the works and terms, and I had even cleared the area for them to start the job. However, with only a few weeks to go, they pulled out, leaving us in a difficult situation.

What makes this situation even worse is that we had already incurred material expenses with their construction engineer. It’s incredibly unprofessional to back out after months of waiting and preparation. A concern was raised about the proposed work (which previously was not an issue for them) to try and get out of the job but they were not even interested in quoting to fix this new issue. Clearly, they prioritized another job over their commitment to us.

Communication was lacking throughout the process, and their sudden withdrawal has left us back at square one. I strongly advise against working with GND Construction, as their actions demonstrate a lack of integrity and consideration for their clients.
