Unacceptably Long Delivery Time

I ordered a piece of furniture on the 4th of this month, and I still haven’t received it. According to the courier, it’s only expected to arrive next Monday, meaning over two weeks of waiting.

I can’t comment on the product’s quality yet, but it’s unacceptable for a company to take so long to deliver an order. Most online stores, even international ones, manage to deliver within a week. This was my first purchase here, and it will definitely be my last. This experience has left me very dissatisfied.

With regards to your order, the information provided at the moment of purchase was that the furniture would be shipped up to 9 working days, and we have fulfilled this prediction. After that, the delivery scheduling was made by Logisimple, and we understand that it may have been longer than expected, due to the seasons increased workload.

Good quality mostly

Good quality mostly, nice design. Ordered several times furniture for living room and bedroom. Quality is mostly good, instructions is ok too. The delivery services could be improved in Portugal.

Awful customer service

Awful customer service! I have spent- literally- thousands of pounds on furniture here. Two small side tables are really rubbish quality with cheap paint, marking easily, scratching easily, and showing signs of wear despite being barely used and almost brand new. I have sent photos (have more and have offered more). Customer service says I have to sent the tables back to them. I have to package the tables (with what?!), then wait for them to get to the warehouse, then have a quality team assess them, and IF they are assessed as poor quality, I’ll get a refund. IF they are not, they’ll be sent back to me? They also keep saying a courier is trying to contact me but I have received no voicemails or emails or texts or WhatsApp messages. Just refund the tables?! Absolutely ridiculous and I have been waiting ages for resolution. Also, need to return a rug, and even though a courier is meant to be coming, picking up from the same location and taking to the same location, I have to book and pay separately for the rug to be collected? It makes no sense.

Firts of all, we would like to apologize, since the experience that you had, with our articles may not have met your expectations.
Since you told us, that the side tables were damaged simply by the use of cleaning products, the guarantee cannot be activated without first checking the items, as this is not considered a production defect.
We asked our courier to collect the tables and told you, that they would be analyzed as soon as they arrived at our warehouse.
Unfortunately, during this period, our courier had planning difficulties and was unable to make the collection in a reasonable time.
Because La Redoute felt that the customer could not be affected, we refunded the tables even before they were collected and, exceptionally, we also collected the rug which, according to our terms of sale, had to be returned by the customer.
We remain at your entire disposal.

So far so good

I ordered a couple of knapkins and they arrived without any issues and within the timeline, plus it had a paper sheet explaining how to return it in case I wanted and with all the necessary documentation already there. Website is also allright to navigate so so far I liked it.

Great seller

Ordering since 2 years for clothes, linens and decoration... Always great! The returns procedure is a little more tedious than in France or Spain (you have to manually fill out a form with all the details of all the items) but returns are processed and refund very quickly.

WARNING FRAUD! DO NOT SHOP FROM HERE!!

I bought goods from here online worth 254 euros and never received them. When I track the package it says it's delivered when no one was home (can be proven via plane tickets on that very date)

The carrier of La Redoute FORGED MY SIGNATURE (which is of course a crime btw) and even wrote my name wrong on the delivery note.

I have been trying to get my money back from La Redoute even though it is not the customers responsibility to try to track a clearly stolen package. It is a whole saga where I need to keep calling them and they need to go back and forth with carrier. It had now been over 2 weeks. They do not fullfil their responsibility of delivering the package to the customer which is the whole premise of online shopping

My advice is DO NOT SHOP FROM HERE as you will NOT receive the goods and have the added stress of top trying to get your money back.

Nightmare to return items

Nightmare to return items, they really need to think on simplifying things as I will never order from them again due to it being complicated to return items. Not impressed!
