No refunds under any circumstances

We have bought a pair of jeans for my young daughter for a family gathering. She was not allowed to wear it as it was deemed not dressy enough. I went to return it and was refused a refund for " change of mind " . I explained to the woman it was not change of mind, she simply wasn't allowed to wear it. The receipt is very vague on refund policy. If I was told no refunds, I most likely would not have bought the item. This shows a business that's struggling and trying to hold onto every dollar they make
