I had my server with Aruba since 2018, where the cost was only €1/month, then increased to €2.79/mo with minor issues from time to time. But following their recent price increase to €4.6/mo because of VMware, I got an email on December 2024 (leaving me just 1 month to decide !), where I was offered to "migrate" my VPS to OpenStack with 2 "free" months, and after contacting them, it seems it was not a migration, but a full install from scratch, so I had to cancel my VPS account with them.
Since I have only €2.82 remaining credits in my account, I was told I can open a request to get a reimbursement after canceling my existing VPS, which I did, but they only want to send it via a bank transfer, despite paying with a debit card, which obviously will consume the refund because of bank fees, that's why I asked they simply send it via Paypal, but they still didn't respond after 4 days now, while previously, they would respond almost the same day, so maybe posting here will get things sorted !
Today Dera from Bergamo from Uruba spent 4 hours on the phone helping me to get my SPID up and running. She was patience, professional and such a kind human. Very rare these days and I appreciated her support so much. I would always recommend Aruba because of my number 1 experience with Dera. Thank you!

Worst ISP Since 1999 over 4 countries - Good luck if you choose them
UPDATE: They offered to help on Trustpilot and then closed the open ticket they referenced, thus proving my previous point that they prefer to close tickets rather than solve problems. My problem persists (30/12/2024).
Review of 20/12/2024:
For all of my problems I do give them credit for attempting to determine whether they are at fault, relentlessly blaming problems on everything else rather than themselves. The communications concerning their lack of fault are timely, but not helpful.
I have tested access to their high-speed router with FTTH over 3 windows computers, 2 macbook airs, and 3 different versions of iPhones. Not a single one can achieve a connection over 1Gbps via connections that go over 3Gbps (wireless) and upwards of 2.5Gbps (cable). They completely blame the manufacturers of the devices (in my case, Lenovo and Apple).
Microsoft and Apple blame the ISP and the maker of the router. Lenovo has yet to respond.
This has been an ongoing concern for 3 months. They continue to close tickets and not resolve the problem. At this point they have decided it's not their fault and will do nothing further to investigate of correct the issue. They will not allow me to swap the router out for a better one. I am now in a contract, held hostage, until a better option comes along when the contract runs out.
I can taste the gun metal in my mouth.
Their response, below, does nothing g to change my review.

Technical issues with the managed kubernetes
Since Monday we are experiencing issues with resizing a Kubernetes attached block storage. Our production database got overwhelmed with incoming data and the PersitentVolumeClaim for the database filled up quickly, now the database won't start because we can't get the PVC to resize.
We have cluster limit for storage set at 2400GB we only occupy up to 700 GB but we can't resize our PVC's by any amount.
Our production is down since Monday and we can't get haven't gotten any updates from the support.

No KYC, No money back
When you are creating account, you are goong to the payment flow you dont even know that after payment you need to go to KYC!
If you dont want to go to KYC they can cancel your payment, but i still didnt get it, and in my bank it has success / approved status. They cant give you refund receipt (almost every payment processor has it). For exmpl Virgin has refund automation process.
Aruba its like an old village, its cool to be in but for 1 week
