Decathlon is one of those places I always check before purchasing any kind of outdoor gear now, a couple of times I've found stuff I prefer to similar items elsewhere at half the price. It's a no brainer 5 star site from my experience.

The cycling jacket arrived when you said it would. I've now had a chance to use it. It provides a good balance between warmth and ventilation and has some great features especially - the extended cuffs on the sleeves to stop draughts and the tail on the jacket that avoids being caught on the saddle like conventional built in tails

Staff in the cycle department at Decathlon Sheffield were excellent in their assistance to us when purchasing a new bike for our son. We were even able to trade in his old (mostly smaller) bike against the cost of the larger one that was required. Their knowledge, expertise and great customer skills were worthy of a review and we will continue to travel to Sheffield from Doncaster to visit this great store! Thanks #teamdecathlonsheffield

Decathlon customer service doesn't…

Decathlon customer service doesn't exist, it's all automated response whether its via email or live chat.
Some products will charge you for click and collect and staff in store are useless they say reason for charge is because of the service but item was in store sat in one place, how does that make any sense that I am being charged for the service. Bunch of nupties. If you are going to buy from them make sure it's from store and not online.

Never associate yourself with decathlon…

Never associate yourself with decathlon , unless you agree with cheating and stealing someone eleses husbad!! This is what dcathlon promotes !!! The store manager in Ealing, Iliana, has had inappropriate relations with another store manager, who is married!!!! She is continuously harassing his wife and kids!!!

I’ve never had such a bad experience…

I’ve never had such a bad experience with a company before. I purchased a few items online for the wrong sizes to be sent (mistakes happen), I then contact decathlon which is via email to let them know the wrong items have been sent….im then told it been bought via the market place and is not something they can deal with but will contact the third part seller. I found this very sneaky as I went onto decathlons website to purchase the product and was no way informed this is from a third party and in my mind if it’s on your site you’re responsible and representing these third parties, any way weeks later after numerous text messages and emails decathlon haven’t even had the courtesy to message me back back just ignore me. Thanks

Delivered wrong size

Delivered wrong size, no way of talking to customer services, rang Tamworth store to be told they can refund if I go all the way over there; and suggested I reorder, what is the point of that when they couldn’t send the right size the first time, presume they will send the wrong size again.

JUST HAD AN EMAIL TO SAY THAT SIZE 9 and 8.5 ARE THE SAME?! Absolutely ridiculous company do not waste your money

Shocking company to deal with!

Shocking company to deal with!

I purchased a bike for my grandson before Christmas and Ive been trying to send it back for almost 4 weeks now.
The bike was supplied by one of their external suppliers.
I’ve left emails which sometimes they reply to and they ask for information and then nothing! No reply so I have to start all over again.
The whole experience is not what I would expect from such a large retailer!

6 email replies that I’ve sent haven’t even been answered and I’m still stuck with a bike that I’m struggling to get a refund on!

My advice to anyone is that if you are thinking of buying something from them that comes from an external supplier not to bother because it really isn’t worth the stress!

Further to my last review the issue still hasn’t been resolved

I had an email sent from yourselves informing me that DPD would pick the parcel up the following day and that if there was any issues to reply to the email which I did.

I asked which address you had because no one would be at the address due to work commitments but just like previous occasions no one replied to my email
I had previous conversations with other agents informing them that the pick up address would be different to the address that it was delivered to but no one replied then either.

DPD turned up today to pick up the parcel but obviously no one was in.

Can someone at decathlon please email me so I can arrange a pick up address but reply to my emails rather than ignoring them.

Lack of communication is making this experience really difficult!

They didn't return my money after I…

They didn't return my money after I cancelled my order right away. Its been over a week ago and there is no respond from them at all. Just save your money and don't bay from them! They will steal yours money! I'm trying to get my money by containing customers agency. It is very stressful as it was a lot of money!

Well I sended to decathlon many times about it but it wasn't resolved!

Stay Away from Decathlon’s Marketplace Like the Plague!

I purchased a Horizon Andes 7i Elliptical Machine (sold by Johnson Health Tech Digital UK Ltd.) through Decathlon’s marketplace on 31 December 2024, and it arrived on 6 January. Right from the start, the machine was completely faulty:

- The screen displays an error and abruptly cancels the workout.
- The resistance doesn't work at all—the lowest and highest levels run the same.
- The decrease button doesn't function.

I contacted Decathlon expecting a straightforward return process. Instead, I was told to reach out to the seller directly, which I did, but got no response. After following up with Decathlon again, they claimed they were trying to contact the seller but offered no real solution. Now it’s been over a week, and I'm stuck with a 100+ kg faulty machine and £650 out of my pocket.

It’s shocking that Decathlon doesn’t properly vet or support their third-party marketplace sellers. I feel like I’ve been scammed by a seller who’s effectively disappeared, and Decathlon is doing nothing to help. Beware if you’re considering any purchases from Decathlon’s marketplace—you risk ending up with a useless product and zero accountability from Decathlon. Save your time, money, and sanity, and shop elsewhere!

15 January Edit - After having an email chain of 28 emails with Decathlon team. I am still receiving boilerplate answers. Spent half a day with the Scammer seller and still no update. None of them picking up the rubbish product nor Decathlon refunding the money.

No delivery!!

They didn't deliver the to the right address and would not send a new package or provide a refund. They said they would do something to resolve this but then proceeded to do nothing and ignored me when I followed up with them. Save yourself the time and stress and keep your peace of mind. Stay clear of ordering from these guys! The customer service is useless.

Awful Experience

I've been trying to get a refund for the last two months! My original badminton racket arrived faulty. After a month of constant emails, they offered a replacement, which arrived a month later—and it's the wrong one!

Don’t try using your blue light card!

Went to buy something from the Nottingham Giltbrook store using my blue light discount and rather than deducting the value off the purchase price, I got told I’d have to purchase a gift card online first which would then be used to make the purchase. An absolute faff, why is this necessary? I can only think because if I wanted to return something they’d have to refund back onto a gift card and be locked in with them. I was about to spend hundreds of pounds so the 10% would have made a big difference, but couldn’t be bothered in the end because there was no WiFi, no signal, and the CS wasn’t helpful. Went to go outdoors instead where they price match and deduct the blue light discount off as normal!
