Ordered Air purifier, paid by creditcard. Immediate email confirmation with estimated time of delivery. Delivery within 2 work days (ordered boxing day, delivery on 28th!).

The 1-3 delivery day is a scam. Courier claims to have contacted me, which is untrue. Went on the phone with an employee who was supporting the courier more than my business case. Last time I do business with Elara, they don't value their customers and they are not fulfilling their commitments.
The comment from Elera here that I was unreachable is nonsense and just a lie to cover his back.

I WANTED TO CHANGE MY ORDER SO THEY CANCELLED THE ORIGINAL SALE BUT DID NOT REFUND MY MONEY. IT TURNS OUT THEY KEPT MY MONEY AND DENIED RECEIVING IT. I SENT PROOF ATTACHED FROM MY STATEMENT SHOWING MONEY PAID TO ELARA.
KIN KEEPS DENYING HE RECEIVED MONEY DESPITE BEING SENT PROOF AND JUST KEEPS MY PAYMENT.

Nice reliable store also good price. Only reason for giving 4 stars is that unfortunately they do not allow to collect outside of the office hours eg. "10AM to 6PM, MONDAY TO FRIDAY (excluding bank holidays)" so you more or less stuck paying for delivery anyway, if you work normal 5 days a week.

Great Online Store

Fast delivery, decent prices, good stock levels and regular deals. Good solid packaging too - one of the very best options out there for electronics in Ireland.

Customer was not contactable on Friday(3rd day) so the driver had to leave the location, the item was confirmed delivered next working day(Monday morning).

Twenty years of great service

I've been buying items from Elara for nearly twenty years now (everything from laptops to RAM to gaming PCs to monitors), and have always had a very positive experience with them. Whenever I've had a problem with an order, they were always very proactive about jumping on the phone and getting things sorted out.

Most recently, I ordered an LG C3 42" OLED from them, and they had by far the best pricing in the country. I ordered it on a Wednesday morning, and it arrived by Friday afternoon. I was a bit confused by the fact that they no longer provide tracking numbers for delivery, but they seem to use a smaller courier service now instead of one of the bigger players like DPD. The driver for this courier service phoned an hour in advance to confirm that I was in and was very friendly and professional (which is not the typical experience you get with couriers any more).

It's a shame they don't offer a wider selection of parts for gaming PCs, as they would be by far the best shop in Ireland for this if they did.

Customer cancelled his order and preauthorisation was voided so was never charged. Hopefully customer is able to resolve the issue with his bank and update this review when he realises we are not at fault. Perhaps the best site

Perhaps the best site. Everything is as it is written. They offered the cheapest price for the laptop. Real price as you see it on the website without additional fees. And the product is actually in stock. Delivery was in 2 days. Previously, I had a very bad experience with Amazon, which includes a bunch of additional fees from the actual cost into the final price; in addition, it is stated that there are 6 items in stock, you waste time waiting, and a week later you are informed that the product is out of stock. Elara online is the complete opposite of Amazon. I recommend.

Affordable and quick

Exactly as you'd want from a retailer like this; got my sticks of RAM within three days of ordering - exactly as described - perfectly packaged; protected for the journey, but not overly stuffed with rubbish and wasteful packaging. Prices very fair and competitive - you can get a good deal and still shop local/Irish.

Didn't have any dealings with customer support, but they did send an automated mail after a few days reminding me that I could reach out to them if I didn't receive my parcel. I would definitely recommend and use them again.

Very Impressed

No nonsense online retailer - full disclosure of technical specs (including manufacturer's manuals), highly competitive price tags and fast delivery. Took me a while looking for a new laptop and I'm really glad I chose these guys.

APC UPS SRT1000XLI

I bought an APC UPS SRT1000XLI, Arrived within 2 day and Elara were cheap than anybody else by about €250.
WOULD 100% recommend.

Good web site.

I wish they had an option to pay with PayPal.

Good prices. Very quick delivery. The courier (DPD) even gave me a hour window of when my package would arrive.

Would recommend and I will very likely buy from Elara again.

Buyer Beware

Buyer Beware - hope you do not receive a faulty unit. Unfortunately, when it comes to after care service, Elara do not have any. This is the first bad review I have left in my life. I have made many purchases from Elara, and luckily all until this last one had no issues. Sooner or later you will find out. A large monitor was delivered and did not work - the base was faulty and would not click in. Elara refused to deal with this, I had to go to the manufacturer. The manufacturer tech support said if I use them, I will be sent a reconditioned unit, not a new unit, so go back through the retailer. Elara continued to refuse to do anything to help. Over 5 weeks later, and still they had refused to collect / take action. I purchased the monitor because I needed it. I started to use the monitor without the stand. The monitor toppled and the screen broke - now I have lost the monitor because they would not take action in any reasonable timeframe. Disgraceful.

The customer has omitted some details about this return which we would like to clarify. The customer contacted us during the Christmas break one month after he received the product to report an issue. One of our employees while on holiday decided to reply to his email and informed him that he could get a replacement directly from the manufacturer now or wait till we opened in January to sort it out. We were on the Christmas/New year break, not that we were unwilling to help the customer. Customer decided contact the manufacturer as it was the quicker option. The return was approved and collection was about to be arranged but then the customer came back to us as he was told he would get a replacement that is like for like based on the unit he returned. He wanted a new unit. We tried to mediate the issue in January when we returned but was informed that the front of the monitor is cracked and so for this reason warranty was rejected. Nevertheless we still refunded the customer 50% of his cost as a goodwill gesture which the customer accepted.

AVOID this company!!!

Avoid shopping at Elara.
My order was made 16 Dec 2021, despatched next day. Should be delivered 22-23 Dec.
Delivered 14th Jan 2022!!!! That’s a joke!!!
It was Christmas gift for my son.

Very poor communication by email.
Do not recommended shopping at Elara!!!

I ordered an item paid for next day…

I ordered an item paid for next day delivery way before 11 pm and still have not even had a dispatched message or anything to say my order is on its way there is no way I can cancel it either or get a refund it's a joke no one is telling me what is going on

Efficient service

I had been let down by a company on Amazon for a monitor and was recommended Elara by a friend. They were easy to deal with as they had a live chat option for any queries. Monitor arrived within the promised 2-3 business days. Really good experience and likely to buy from them again.
