We ordered the seafood gumbo from Commanders Palace in New Orleans via Goldbelly. There was a problem with the order when we received it; however, upon contacting the restaurant, Steve W. went above and beyond by sending a replacement order of their 3 course dinner of Shrimp & Grits for 2 people that also included a whole pecan pie. This was much more than what we originally ordered, and it tasted great. Our hats off to Steve and Commanders Palace for their outstanding and legendary customer service.

We stopped ordering from Gold belly since our last interaction back in Dec of 22 where all but one of the Imo pizzas we ordered were cracked. This year we decided to try and order Imo Pizza again because we love it! It appears Gold Belly hasn't made much progress to ensure that when the Pizzas arrive, they are not broken. The first two pizzas we cooked; one was broken in half (not so bad), the second pizza was in at least 5 pieces, so it was more like trying to eat scraps.
Goldbelly stacks the pizzas on top of each other with no form of padding or spacing between them, then add the weight of the dry ice, AND the amount of space that is present within the chamber of the cold area, the pizzas are going to BREAK due to the amount of space they have to bounce around during shipment. We customers pay a premium to have our food shipped. $135 for 6 pizza’s is a serious amount of money- yes insanely. Gold belly should take the time to ensure their products arrive as expected or don’t SELL them.
Goldbelly facilitated the process fine, the product ((Maui Gold Pineapples) was unacceptable. Received a gift of 8 pineapples, not one of them was ripe. Customer service follow up by Goldbelly was really underwhelming. They did not seem to u sweat as what my concern was or how to address it.
I've ordered a few times now and every single experience has been a treat. The food always arrives perfectly packed and tastes just as if I were enjoying it locally. It's such a great way to bring the flavors of home to wherever you are.

This was my very first order from…
This was my very first order from goldbelly. I ordered 2lbs of pastrami from Langers in Los Angeles. I only received 1lb. Their solution is to offer me a partial credit. So Im clear, you want me to add more money to your "partial credit" in order to get my original order that I already paid for? WOW... I feel like I just got scammed in a street hustle. $180 Lesson learned. Buyer beware if you use this service. They REALLY DON'T CARE...

Imo's Pizza Great! Delivery from Gold Belly ** Fail **

Wrong food, and refused refund or full credit
Unfortunately I received the wrong items via my Goldbelly order. Customer service was woefully inadequate about addressing their mistake, and refused to resolve it. It seems Goldbelly takes the position that since the food does not come from them, they have no responsibility to give you back your money if the order is incorrect. I was not offered either a refund or a full credit for the wrong items. I would suggest finding another site and/or method of ordering your food.

This is for customer service
This is for customer service. Rebecca. I've ordered here dozens of times. At holidays mostly. The order got stuck the date of delivery in Atlanta to go to Phenix City AL. 3 days stuck there. They deliver it Christmas Eve, all melted and wet (cheesecake.) I get a call on Christmas Eve though, no caller id, so I didn't answer. Got a voicemail to call back that day so it could be shipped Christmas Eve. I did. Stayed on hold exactly 15 minutes. No answer. Got another call day after Christmas. Same thing. No caller id. No answer. VM said, we shipped it, but call back. I did. No answer. Got a call back from Rebecca. Why are you calling, she asked. You told me to. It shipped. I said this is a business. Apparently I need to sign up on UPS to contact them myself if it's a business. Hmm. How do I know that? Anyway, horrid CS Rebecca. Try harder. Sadly, I'll still order from them cause it's a great idea. But is it? Don't count on the delivery date.

Hard no
Hard no. Ordered my PieCaken months ago to be delivered on December 20. Now the 24th and tracking says it is in NJ. No response for support. I am out $140 USD. Do not order anything from Gold belly

DO NOT ORDER FROM GOLDBELLY
DO NOT ORDER FROM GOLDBELLY! They laughed at me when I told them they sent the wrong order. No apology, no attempt to send me the correct order. They just laughed. They are very expensive but I thought I would use them anyway for a Christmas order following knee replacement surgery because I can't stand up and cook this close to my surgery. I told them that and they laughed. DO NOT ORDER FROM GOLDBELLY!

Goldbelly is the worst
Goldbelly is the worst. Received only half my order and wouldn't give me my money back. Just gave me store credit. Overpriced and the food you received is not the same as the the actual stores.

Disappointed
to say I expected way more for the money spent... Ordered two cakes from different places on goldbelly. Both are not average bakers, I guess, close to fancy is the word. Both cakes were huge disappointment. Both were not fresh. One cake was especially old, dry on sides from freezer burn and sour inside, the protective packing was torn inside so it was exposed to air. Both cakes gave us bloat and painful stabbing gas. One of the cakes gave me diarrhea because of all the butter in it and not much of anything else, the recipe was not authentic in that one to say the least... Anyway, with this load of money they charged for the cakes and delivery, I should have driven anywhere up to 100 miles, and still spent less for gas, the cakes, and would have something way fresher and better.

If something goes wrong ur on ur own
Ordered a cake 12/18 and paid an extra $40 for shipping with a delivery date of 12/21. Item wasn't shipped until 12/20 and of course it is delayed. Contact GoldBelly support and was offered no help or recourse. Just generic canned responses and told to wait until 10pm for the UPS tracking to update. My daughters bday is today and we have no intention of waiting until 10 to see if she will have her special bday cake today so now I am headed out the door to scour the city for a replacement cake. Goldbelly really let us down and while I know carrier delays can happen if the cake was shipped even a day sooner we could have avoided this issue. Further more goldbelly really let us down when it came to thier lack of care or concern over this issue. No offer to help no offer to refund the shipping despite there being a clear delay with no delivery date, no nothing from goldbelly. Truly sad and disheartening.

Never Again
I have used Goldbelly in the past without issue, however after my last interaction I will never use them again. The mistakenly shipped one of my products (Junior’s cheesecake) 1 month early to be delivered while I was out of town. When I called customer service the next afternoon to rectify after receiving an email that my product had shipped the rep tried to blame me for not checking the order confirmation. Well I ordered it at 10:30pm and went to sleep, then to work the next morning. Then she tried to get me to ask a neighbor to get it for me and store it until I returned. They refused to give me a refund and after an hour on the phone they finally agreed to re-ship the item at no cost (they originally tried to charge me a fee when they are the ones who made the mistake). Long story short their customer service is trash. And, I found out from Junior’s that the cheesecake is not being shipped fresh but they have their own warehouse where they store items. God knows how long they have it prior to shipping. Cheesecake is only good for 2-3 months in the freezer before the texture changes. I guess I’ll find out on Christmas day. I could have ordered straight from Junior’s, had a fresher product and avoided the headache.

Stay away...unprofessional with no communication
Ordered two deliveries from Georgetown Cupcake on 12/9/24 to ensure delivery by Christmas. Chose 12/18/24 as delivery date. Order was not delivered 12/18 so I sent a message requesting an update. Logged onto Goldbelly 12/20 to check for a response and they canceled my orders. No email, no courtesy call, nothing. Had to find other gifts that delivered by Christmas and ended up paying $50 for expedited shipment for delivery by 12/25. Find someplace reputable or go to actual business site. Middleman is not it!

Terrible customer service
Ordered food for weekend brunch that was supposedly lost by UPS. While that is possible, the customer service at Goldbelly was terrible. 18-24 hour email response time so I tried the live chat. Was cutoff and told there was delay, tried again and took a total of 2 hours to finally get an answer. Since food delivery needs to be timely they need more representatives.

call the vendor, not Goldbelly
the website and ordering was fine, but the fulfillment was incorrect and spoiled my food.
I ordered frozen food to be delivered on a particular day and they delivered early, so that no one could receive and refrigerate the item.
when I tried to make a new delivery instruction, customer service told me they could do nothing and to sign up for UPS MyChoice which was impossible given the 3rd party nature of my order.
then it sat on a doorstep for 24 hours in 83 degree heat.
merry christmas.

Their "Free Shipping" offer is a scam
Their "Free Shipping" offer is a scam! They promote it in all their emails and on their home page, but recently whenever I try to choose a delivery date, even weeks from now, I'm forced to accept only dates where there is a surcharge from $10. to $20.! No where on the site does it explain why. I've ordered dozens of times from them, but no more. What they are doing is a fraud!

Competely wrong shipping dates and inaccurate customer service.
Sent me a notification that my order would ship immediately, but that wasn't the date I selected. Their customer service told me the issue was handled and that it would ship on the correct date. Instead, it didn't ship when they said it would originally, and it didn't ship when I requested it to, they just sent it on some completely random day in between that was still much too early. Never again.

Terrible Customer Service…
I ordered rainbow cookies from Ferrara Bakery that arrived dry and crumbly making them inedible. When I contacted customer service they replied by sending me a $15 off coupon on another order! No new order of cookies and no refund was offered. I spent $60 for cookies we couldn't eat what a waste of my money. If you're in a business that ships food you need to stand by the quality not say too bad here's a coupon on your next order!
