The train vouchers were emailed one day after the purchase.
It took a while to find the right place to exchange them for tickets at Osaka airport train station. Once we have found it, we had to wait
in a queue for maybe 10 minutes.
Then we got the daily Kansai pass that was very useful and convenient.

I purchased two data SIM cards for a trip to Japan from Japan Experience, but when I arrived in Tokyo and activated them neither worked.

I called the helpline provided to try and resolve the iss
ue and was told that the SIMs may be faulty and I would have to take them back to the shop I purchased them from. Given I’m in Tokyo and I purchased them from Japan Experience in the UK that advice is about as much use as a chocolate teapot!

Completely useless. Avoid at all costs.

Purchased a JR West Area Pass for the Sanyo Sanin area. We received the eticket via email right the next day and were able to later redeem it at the JR station. Much easier than having it sent by post. Thank you!

The instructions were very clear and concise on how to go about retrieving our train tickets for the Shinkasen. The website was also very informative for other activities to do in the regions we travelled to.

Hello, thanks for your feedback. It's extremely unusual that you would receive two faulty SIM cards - especially as you say the cards picked up the local network provider - so we're currently checking with our supplier to find out what the issue may have been. In the meantime we have of course provided you a full refund, as you were unable to use the cards.

As we're a Japan travel specialist we also have an office in Tokyo! Customers in Japan are always welcome to return problem products to us there.

The JR Rail pass is an amazing way to cover distance across Japan - highly recommend Japan Experience for service

I’m so glad I made the right decision to purchase through Japan Experience.
The delivery of the voucher was prompt, and the activation process at Yokohama JR station was incredibly efficient. The staff went out of her way to reserve all my itinerary tickets, which made my 7-day epic journey from Tokyo to Hokkaido and down to Hiroshima and back so easy.
I was able to use in between Shinkansen stations on JR trains and the bonus in having this pass meant visiting Miyajima Island you are exempt from the tax at the ferry port.

It’s worth noting that this isn’t their usual practice for reservations —during busy travel periods, they specify that only one journey can be reserved in advance, with the rest being handled as they come.

Narita Airport Rapid Train tickets to…

Narita Airport Rapid Train tickets to Tokyo, I never received the QR code and had to resolve the transfer at the airport, they cancelled Shinkansen tickets between Hiroshima and Osaka just saying that there was a lot of demand without any other option to resolve it, terrible service

Hello, thank you for your comments.

As stated on our website, we send airport transfer vouchers to customers within 5 working days. Because you ordered on the evening before your planned transfer, we were unfortunately unable to send the vouchers to you in time. You were of course provided with a full refund.

Regarding the Shinkansen tickets, you ordered these on December 27th for a train on January 3rd. The New Year period is the biggest and most important holiday in Japan. Many people travel at this time, and because of this seats for a group of five on your requested train (as well as all other trains on or near the travel time) were unavailable on this date. We again apologised, and provided you with a full refund.

We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused, however to avoid disappointment we strongly recommend not waiting until the last moment when placing an order, especially during peak travel periods.
