The train vouchers were emailed one day after the purchase.
It took a while to find the right place to exchange them for tickets at Osaka airport train station. Once we have found it, we had to wait
in a queue for maybe 10 minutes.
Then we got the daily Kansai pass that was very useful and convenient.

I purchased two data SIM cards for a trip to Japan from Japan Experience, but when I arrived in Tokyo and activated them neither worked.

I called the helpline provided to try and resolve the iss
ue and was told that the SIMs may be faulty and I would have to take them back to the shop I purchased them from. Given I’m in Tokyo and I purchased them from Japan Experience in the UK that advice is about as much use as a chocolate teapot!

Completely useless. Avoid at all costs.

Purchased a JR West Area Pass for the Sanyo Sanin area. We received the eticket via email right the next day and were able to later redeem it at the JR station. Much easier than having it sent by post. Thank you!

The instructions were very clear and concise on how to go about retrieving our train tickets for the Shinkasen. The website was also very informative for other activities to do in the regions we travelled to.

Didn’t work very well

Didn’t work very well. Had problems with it working sometimes and sometimes it didn’t. This was the first time we encountered such problems.

We strongly believe that this must be a very specific case as our provider, uses the NTT Docomo network which is the one offering the widest coverage everywhere in Japan. The regulations on mobile network in Japan are strict and Internet coverage and network quality are generally excellent throughout Japan. I had a good experience with Japan…

I had a good experience with Japan Rail. More efforts should be made for transfers and explanations on English for the tourists. It was difficult communicating.
I did had a great experience with several workers who were so helpful that made my travels in your country more comfortable... I am from a Spanish speaking country communicating in English or a translator with your staff.

Kinsetsu line double fare should be clearly explained.

A Free Service that Delivers

Japan Experience was incredible. They booked six separate sets of tickets at no charge to me a few days before our trip. I got QR codes from them the day after booking which I scanned at at JR office in Tokyo.
