As always when phoning you, the person answering was friendly and very helpful. He was instantly able to answer a number of queries, which reinforced my decision to buy, and the delivery was the next day. Great!!
The usual very high standard of service, and the excellent quality of the product makes me come time and again.

Very helpful technician explaining what was available in my package and what to be aware of. As it was a Saturday I was made aware that the article would not be dispatched before the following Monday. GPO's inability to deliver for a whole week was not the fault of Morgan Computers.
The delivery was excellent as was the technical follow-up.
The PC did boot up ok but very slow and required some alterations to the Bios. I have some experience of this many years ago but needed their help and advice. A couple of false starts and now all working really well. Very pleased with their prompt and positive support.
Even over the Christmas/New Year postal delays, the cartridges came sooner than predicted. As an aside, I never let Epson update my firmware. The printer tells me I am using non-Epson inks but I just enter "continue" and the IJT inks work perfectly.

First step to buy a computer.
Having been given the the link to Morgan Computers by my brother, as I mentioned I was looking for cheap xp laptop. Boy am I glad he did. The range of products was unbelievable. I purchased my laptop at a price that nobody could match, using all the various search engines. Yes I could have found cheaper, but no guarantee, or dubious sellers. My laptop from Morgans came well packaged, and straight out the packaging switched on and 3 hours 40 minutes on the battery. The range of products and pricing at Morgan has to be seen to be believed. Looking forward to many years of buying from Morgans, and it is the site that I would recommend to my friends. 100% quality retailer, deserves more than 5 stars.

Morgan Computers is a go-to website for digital hardware
I needed a small, reliable tablet PC that would let me work away from home (while enjoying myself in France). A decent keyboard was also a must have, along with light weight and long battery life.
Although I have previously bought hardware from Morgan Computers, I went to their site more to get a feel for what is available than to make a purchase. Up popped the HP Pavillion X2, at a price I could not turn down, so I ordered it there and then. Rapid delivery and, although described as "refurbished", the product was to all intents and purposes brand new. It was easily upgraded to Windows 10 and the only downside is the small amount of internal storage - so back to their website for a 32GB memory stick!
The HP Pavilion X2 is a great value product and the experience was a reminder to always check the Morgan Computers web site first in future. I recommend them.

Customer for 30 years says it all
Always helpful with product information, lots of interesting things at great prices. I've had to send only one item back in all this time - and that was in 2002 (no problem with that). Sometimes I've had a slightly better item than I was expecting (same sort of thing obviously). All items have been new or as new. Items by courier arrive usually next day - smaller items by post can take a lot longer!

Excellent value and service
I have regularly bought latop PCs from Morgan over the last 10 years or so. I have always got a good deal and received excellent service. Although several items were refurbished, they looked like new. Keep up the good work and I will be back again.

Great value for big name brands
Have used Morgans for over twenty years (when they had shops). By and large they give good value for money and will help you if there's a problem. Only had one quibble in the past few years with a Blackberry Playbook, it was replaced without fuss and three years on it's my go-to tablet for holiday use. In an age of endless updates and change it's reassuring to still be able to get great technology at good prices.

Pleasantly surprised
Based on only one purchase, so far...
The item I bought (a pair of networking powerline adapters) arrived more quickly than predicted. The price was better than I could find elsewhere and, although online reviews of the company were a little mixed I decided to risk it. Although the adaptors arrived in plain rather than retail packing, they gave every sign of being new, were just as described and work well. I would be happy to buy from Morgan again.

Toshiba Laptop
Bought reconditioned Toshiba Laptop, which while just out of production, has a quad core I7 processor, all the interfaces you could possibly wish for and solid state memory. It is as good as new and blisteringly fast! It can boot up onto the home screen far quicker than my network can set up an internet connection! All this for approximately £1,000 (!) less than than the RR list price when still in production a few months ago (!) It is in as good as new condition. I have nothing but praise for Morgancomputers. I had a a slight issue with a Bluetooth driver which they resolved quickly, and efficiently by emailing me some new drivers. Well done Morgan!

Budget reconditioned PC seems as good as new
Paid a lot less than a new PC would've cost, and the reconditioned PC we received seems just as good as new. Plus economical and reliable delivery to Spain, which is not easy to organise as there are only a couple of companies that do computer delivery outside the UK.
There was an initial lack of communication from Morgan over delivery problems, which was frustrating and caused a delay to our order, but this was helpfully resolved by Richard Howard and our order arrived in Spain after about 8 working days.
So far we are very pleased with the PC we ordered - it seems fast, reliable and efficient.
It did arrive with slightly bent casing in one corner and scratches on the casing, which doesn't bother us but perhaps should be explicitly stated in the product listing, as it would be for example on Ebay.
Otherwise all satisfactory, and despite the delivery hold up we would use Morgan again.

Long standing reliable company
Like several other reviewers here, I've bought various items of computer kit from Morgans over the last 30 years and never had any trouble whatever. Delivery has always been fast (generally next day in recent years) and the goods have always been as described with any issues (such as a PSU that died on the first day) fixed rapidly and politely after a single phone call. I was a bit wary after the original company ceased trading in 2009 and sold its branding, goodwill and online sales operation to the present owners, but it turned out that the only difference where customers are concerned was the disappearance of the three bricks and mortar stores, which was a little sad (it was nice to go in for a browse) but had no effect on the core business.
My two most recent purchases, an HP graphics workstation and a small form factor Dell desktop, have been the best value for money I've experienced in close on 40 years of buying PCs for personal and business use. I wouldn't want to claim that the description of the Dell on the Morgan website was 100% accurate in the strict interpretation of the Sale of Goods Act that another reviewer here applies: it mentions a number of Dell-specific software features intended for enterprise IT managers which were part of the original bloatware but have been zapped from the refurbished machine -- and good riddance. But the manufacturer's exact model number is correctly given in this, and all the other Morgan ads I've seen, and to my mind that's description enough. It's the work of a moment to get the official specification from the maker's website and base a purchasing decision on that.
I would buy again from Morgans with complete confidence, and nothing in my experience would prevent me from advising others to do the same.

Swann CCTV 4 camera set with Tablet and Dell Laptop.
I have brought several items from Morgan Computers, I have never had an issue with anything i have brought from them, but if I did I would have no hesitation in contacting their support. The items ARE as described, I research things before I buy, I can get stuff cheaper ealsewhere but I don't know what quality I will get, with Morgan it is as described. I purchased a Dell laptop, second user from them, it arrived within days and it was already charged and out of the box and up and working. It was described as having scratches on the screen but when it arrived I could not find any scratches anywhere on it, whoever had it before looked after it well. It had windows software installed and was a better version (Win 8) rather than Win7 on advert.
I recently brought from them the Swann CCTV 4 cameras with a Tablet. I took it out of the box and set up the first camera, turned on the tablet and it was there as soon as the software started up. I have installed the other 3 cameras since all with great HD reception, I upgraded the 8GB micro SD card to 32GB and it records lovely. Sound as well as pictures, with the movement detection working so you don't waste SD Card space. I have connected it to my 4K smart TV and get excellent pictures on the big screen using a HDMI (Mini) lead.
I highly recommend Morgan Computers, they have completely satisfied me and been recommended them to several friends and relatives who have used them and are also customers now. Whenever I want something off the internet I always look to see if they sell it first because of the level of service I get from them.
I see below someone who is saying that they breach the SOG act, but I don't know what site he was looking at as it isnt the same Morgan Computers that I search and Buy from.

Bought recycled Dell Optiplex 790 with Windows 7
I recently bought a Dell Optiplex 790 from Morgan's and it's a great machine. I've been buying from Morgan's since the 80s and I've never had a duff buy from them. Personal PCs to run bulletin boards and several clones at a time for companies I worked for. All fine. I can only ever remember one going back because of a faulty power switch and that was replaced within 24 hours.
Recycled machines are big now. Why pay 2 grand for the latest kit, when you can get a power PC for 200 quid? You do take a risk though and some recyclers are a bit iffy. I had one PC with an illegal version of XP. Nor from Morgan's though, it verified and I was offered the free upgrade to Windows 10. Not that I was daft enough to accept :-)
Personally and based on nearly 30 years of buying from them, I'd give Morgan's 4.9 stars out of 5.

Misleading and downright dishonest
Morgan lie somewhere between misleading and downright dishonest in their descriptions of their refurbished laptops, phones and tablets. In fact dishonest it probably right. According to the Sale of Goods Act all goods must be correctly described (to a customer), and as described.
In one product description a tablet was described as running Android Lollipop 5.1 in the title, in the description it said "Running the latest version of Android" - that means at least 5.1, but further down the description it was described as running version 4.4 Kit-Kat but could be upgraded to 5.1. Confused? You will be because Morgan do not reply to emails asking for clarification, hoping that you will "take a chance" and be sufficiently satisfied with the low price that you won't complain.
This is sharp practice and - in fact - a breach of the Sale of Goods Act.
In a description of a HP Laptop there was no mention of it having U.S. keys - not a big problem, but again, the item was not correctly described and they would not respond to any email concerning it.
As another poster said, Morgan are not a bad company, but they are not a good one either. They seem to deliberately sail close to the wind, and also to flout the law. I have tried to get answers to many product queries from Morgan, but their reponse to emails is zero, and on the phone they pass you around from one department to another. Shameful.
Caveat Emptor is one thing, deliberately breaking the law is another. Hence 1 star - unacceptable business conduct. It doesn't take much to shape up.

Morgan filter reviews on their website and mislead on 2nd user equipment.
Not a bad company but their selling tactics leave something to be desired.
Most of their items are second user, some appear to be left over stock but we are not given this info. They really don't point out where the items are from on the website, often resorting to statements like A1, or grade B condition. I would prefer to know an item is second user.
My second gripe is they don't allow any negative reviews to show on their website. Some recent android tablets I ordered performed badly and didn't hold a charge for more than 30 minutes, I wasn't complaining about Morgan but about the performance of the product. I tried 4 times to leave a review for these but none of those reviews ever appeared on the web site. There are however a couple of really gleaming reviews for the same product that somehow are allowed through, so I resort to Trust pilot to put my point across.
All in all, not a bad company but a company that don't tell the full truth, this is a real shame as it's difficult to trust a website that isn't being open, honest and telling the full story.

Printer Bargains at a steal
Have bought two Dell colour laser printers from this company over the last two years and the price, quality and after sales service has been second to none. I don't know how they are able to do it for the price.
